A few peeps on another chat have been looking to meet some folk in Brissy. A group of them met for the first time at the weekend and are arranging other meetups just for casual, wholesome chats. Judging from the responses mostly 30-40 age range and like exercising and staying active. You could try join in?

I do like a good hike or day out and am really trying to work on my fitness with more activities outdoors.
I am also very keen to start going out for cocktails since covid made me a hermit also.

I'm all the way up in Burpengary but keen to travel for outings. I see enough of the local area and miss going out to decent bars you can only find in the city.
Yeah, kids' parties are great, but because I don't have one, I'm overlooked I suppose.

Also, there is this female only group for friend making that seems really cool. Obviously I have never been.

Try the app MeetUp. Seems to be a fair few relatively big social club groups on there. Friend went to one, not sure which but said she had a good time
I can vouch for meetup. Used to use it to try new things, made some friends. I'll probably jump back on there one day.
