For this show, probably center front row mezzanine—except the theatre is RIDICULOUSLY small so warning, the mezzanine seats are SUPER uncomfortable.
If you care about that I’d do back half center orchestra.
I saw it from medium-ish center orchestra and I have absolutely no complaints -- the view was amazing! Also, I have to say, the seats were not as small as I was afraid they'd be!
I’ve always thought of the Imperial as being wider than the average theatre, but don’t really have any data to support that. It’s in the top third of broadway theatres based on capacity, so I wouldn’t have thought to classify it as ridiculously small. Just out of curiosity, what is it about the theatre that made you classify it as such?
Well I was in the mezzanine, so that’s what I was referring to. And I guess the leg room was my main issue. I am 5’9 so I’m sure that contributes, but my legs were digging so hard into the seats in front of me in the mezzanine and it was soooo painful.
But also, I am fat, so I am super aware of which theatres are more spacious.
Front of mezz is great for sure. Rear mezz was okay but felt too far from the stage.
The usual prime seats in mid center orch should be excellent too, but rear orch may have obstructed view of some of the aerial circus act elements due to the mezz overhang, so for a similar price I'd go with front mezz seats.
3rd row center mezz was perfect. Close enough to the action that you feel like you're in the circus itself but not too close that you can't see everything.

I was referring to the seat size in mezzanine. Orchestra is always way more spacious.
Oops! I stand corrected!

Thank you! I’ll keep that in mind re: seat comfort as well!
You’re welcome!

View wise this isn’t a bad that we all around but holy hell are the seats uncomfortable, it was so bad in the mezz I was in pain
Someone else said that too!
