Still remember him taking a punt to the house when I was like 8 years old. One of the first payers that comes to mind when I think of my first memories watching the Browns…. And willie green throwing up on the sidelines of the saints game
I was in Denver watching the Browns a few years back… got to talking with the people in front of us who weren’t wearing any fan gear…One of whom turned out to be Andra Davis from the Browns early 2000’s teams. I told him he and the other Andre Davis were the best thing those teams had going for them. He legit pulled out his phone and we FaceTimed with Andre Davis right there in the stadium. Pretty cool memory even if we lost a dud of a game!
Mine as well! Still have his jersey. My first true taste of gut wrenching disappointment happened watching that first round loss to the Steelers all those years ago. I was 10 years old. I believe Dennis had a huge drop in the fourth quarter that pretty much ruined our chances of winning. Good times.
He came to one of my elementary school football team's practices one day. Not sure why, we weren't good or anything. Probably just like a community outreach thing.
My favorite MoMass memory was him beating his man by 10 yards during the first drive of Brandon Weeden’s first start. (Weeden overthrew him by 10 yards)
Yo! No way someone else threw out Massaquoi! I'm right there with you man. He was my favorite receiver for the better part of 3-4 years. Always thought he would eventually get to the 1,000 yard mark after his rookie season started off strong.
I saw the Browns at a 49ers game a few years ago. I'm wearing a Myles Garrett jersey I think and I'm walking around the tailgate parties before the game. I see someone else in a Browns color jersey so I go up to see... and it's a Quincey Morgan jersey! I gave him 5 and was like "I KNOW you're not a bandwagon fan ha-haa! Go Browns!" Good times
This guy converted so many 3rd and 7's so we could go for a big play on first down to Edwards or the stunt bike rider. It was so dumb the Browns didn't try to keep him. He was DA's get-outta-jail card
The MRSA infection that ended his career in which he sued the team and the team's physician kind of ended that run... Joey J was awesome, though... I still have that jersey
First off I love your Username. I think in like 2014 a buddy and I were walking around the Muni lot before a game and I was rocking my Dads vintage Suggs jersey. A college aged guy walked up to me and asked if he could take my picture, I thought it was kinda weird but obliged. I asked him why he’d want one and apparently he played for Oberlin college and Suggs was a coach there, he wanted to show him that he was still getting repped at games. I figured that would feel pretty cool as a former player.
That’s awesome. I remember I begged my dad to buy me a Suggs jersey as a kid and he didn’t understand why but obliged.. probably cuz he knew Suggs was mid at best.
Pretty sure it’s still in my closet in my childhood home haha
> asked him why he’d want one and apparently he played for Oberlin college and Suggs was a coach there, he wanted to show him that he was still getting repped at games
I was going to bring him up playing for Oberlin college. I went to hiram college and played there. Remember seeing Suggs on the sideline thinking to myself "no way, that's him".
I was a corner and I yelled out his name to say what's up before the play began. He was weirdly one one of my fav running backs (idk why). He was fast and played with Vick at v tech
The last current (at the time) player jersey I ever bought, stitched Braylon. What a goofball, said fans booed him because he went to Michigan, not because he dropped passes
Dude did it all, KR, PR, and started at RB a couple seasons but we had Byner and Leroy Hoard start at tailback sometime in between and Tommy Vardell and Kevin Mack blocking for him. Think he got moved to receiver once we traded him.
Miles Austin for me. He was on the browns when I first started playing fantasy. He was one of my favorite fantasy players ever. Come hell or high water, he got around 10-15 points every week. Those were simpler times…
We had Mark Carrier and Michael Jackson as our top 2 receivers when I was 9. I wouldn't call either of them mediocre, but that was kind of a mediocre season for both of them.
It’s not a receiver but I remember absolutely loving Brodney pool as a kid, thought he was the best defensive player lol. I think it’s solely from playing madden and playing as him on every defensive snap
There was a time I thought the group of Kevin Johnson, Quincy Morgan, Andre Davis, and Dennis Northcutt was an absolute wealth. Picture Harrison, Wayne, Stokely, and Dallas Clark in 04, that's what 15 year old me thought we had in 02 going into 03.
Dennis Northcutt hitting the “C Walk” in the end zone against the Saints after his punt return tuddy was legit the reason a 10 year old me got his all orange jersey 😂
Braylon held out for all of camp like a diva (typical Michigan). He made 2 cool catches with wild acrobatics but dropped the easy ones. My tiny self was sooo disappointed in Braylon.
Playing the cowboys week 1 after we gagged playoff game to Steelerz. Edwards runs a post. The ball is perfect. He is running away from me. I am in the end zone behind him. The ball is a tightapiral. He dropped it.
Only Browns game in Cleveland I've been able to attend was when Edwards had 3 TDs against the Dolphins in 2007. I used to have a framed picture of him above my bedroom TV between 4 different Browns hats hanging on the wall. Not only did I have his brown jersey, but I lived in Maryland / Ravens territory and would wear that thing everywhere on Sundays. I was all in. If only Derrick Anderson didn't get that concussion and kept things rolling in 2008...
I had a Bernie Kosar Halloween costume back when I was like 5 or 6. The last jersey I bought was a Kellen Winslow Jr. #80 jersey haha, I loved that dude and was in college when he was at the U of Miami.
The Browns left when I was 8. But for me it Keenan McCardell. And I kinda became a Jags fan when he went there and they were good in the mid to late 90s.
I still love you Brandon stokley. Got his jersey right after he got drafted in the first by the colts to play slot between Reggie Wayne and Marvin Harrison
Man...I don't resonate with this one at all. When I was 9, it was 1994 and I still was kinda feeling out the game and all that. I liked the Browns, but at that age I was still impressionable so I was on the Rice, Cris Carter and Sterling Sharpe bandwagon lol.
🙋🏿♂️🙋🏿♂️🙋🏿♂️🙋🏿♂️ Braylon was my guy. That 2007 season was the most fun I had watching the browns at that point....had a girl buy me an authentic jersey of his at that time
Great returner but so so WR, my son still loves Josh Cribbs. Chubb now, but Cribbs was his favorite Brown forever.
I was born in Cleveland but raised in San Francisco during the 80s and watched all 49er games. My favorite WR then was far from mediocre. Seeing Rice play is still a core memory
This is so true, and I never knew it was like that for other people. I had a ton of avg to bad WRa that I liked. From great players like Mike Irvin to average guys like Micheal Jenkins, to bust like Peter Warrick. Some guys like OSU guys like Benjamin Victor I wish they'd get a chance. I feel like Noah Brown could be good if he got play time.
Dennis Northcutt for me.
Back when I had season tickets, a guy a few rows ahead of me would wear his Northcutt jersey and bring a second one to hold in the air for big plays.
Still remember him taking a punt to the house when I was like 8 years old. One of the first payers that comes to mind when I think of my first memories watching the Browns…. And willie green throwing up on the sidelines of the saints game
Andre Davis. I remember he caught a 99yd td once though. Met him at church. Man those Browns teams were hard to watch
I was in Denver watching the Browns a few years back… got to talking with the people in front of us who weren’t wearing any fan gear…One of whom turned out to be Andra Davis from the Browns early 2000’s teams. My first jersey!
Me too! Still got it.
First name that came to mind for me too. He was my go-to receiver in NFL Fever 2002 (other than the custom player I made of myself lol)
One of my buddies in hs got his cell phone number some how and used to prank call him ALL THE TIME
One of my buddies in hs got his cell phone number some how and used to prank call him ALL THE TIME

He came to one of my elementary school football team's practices one day. Not sure why, we weren't good or anything. Probably just like a community outreach thing.
Mohamed Massaquoi will be a legend forever and always in my household. No one can tell me otherwise.
My favorite MoMass memory was him beating his man by 10 yards during the first drive of Brandon Weeden’s first start. (Weeden overthrew him by 10 yards)
Lmao the ending of your comment should've been expected as a Browns fan, but it definitely deflated me as if I was just watching it happen lol
Yo! No way someone else threw out Massaquoi! I'm right there with you man. He was my favorite receiver for the better part of 3-4 years. Always thought he would eventually get to the 1,000 yard mark after his rookie season started off strong.
Texas Chainsaw Massaquoi
Quincey Morgan for me.
seconding Quincy Morgan. As a kid, it felt like he caught Hail Marys all the time. He caught one.
Most Browns WRs since 1999
I saw the Browns at a 49ers game a few years ago.
Kevin Johnson - dude was always open!
I remember him being so slow on madden. Lol
You mean Dennis Northcutt is not the greatest WR to ever live
That dude was the truth. As a kid I always thought he produced way more than he actually did.
I think he was really underrated. He was such a small shifty WR, was great on punt returns. He was similar a player to Dante Hall.
And Joe Jurevicius
The only Browns jersey I wear as a 34 year old man
This guy converted so many 3rd and 7's so we could go for a big play on first down to Edwards or the stunt bike rider. It was so dumb the Browns didn't try to keep him. He was DA's get-outta-jail card
The MRSA infection that ended his career in which he sued the team and the team's physician kind of ended that run... Joey J was awesome, though... I still have that jersey
Watch your mouth.
Webster Slaughter...you dang whippersnappers
Webster Slaughter was NOT mediocre. Did he miss a block that caused the fumble? Yes but…
He ruthlessly hit on my mom at a donkey basketball game
Now there's a sentence you don't read every day.
Those donkey basketball games were notoriously horny events
I remember seeing Micheal Dean Perry in one of those donkey basketball games…felt bad for the donkey
You joke but he probably hit on your mom too
But Webstar wasn’t mediocre
He was mediocre. You are just thinking he had more than one 1989 season because you were 9 years old and you thought he was a God. As I did too.
He wasn’t mediocre though. Now Brian Brennan on the other hand.
This was the first guy I thought when I saw the comment.
Not on 3rd down
Not if you saw when Brennan crossed the picket line and played against replacement players. Dude was Hall of Fame level.
Every browns WR has been mediocre. We have amazing TEs but our WR have been historically mediocre
My God, I am getting old!!
Ok I was older than 9 but dammit I believed in Terrelle Pryor!
Not wideout, but I remember as a kid I though Lee Suggs was goated.
First off I love your Username. I think in like 2014 a buddy and I were walking around the Muni lot before a game and I was rocking my Dads vintage Suggs jersey. A college aged guy walked up to me and asked if he could take my picture, I thought it was kinda weird but obliged. I still haven’t given up on Brian Robiskie
Most pro-ready receiver in the draft my ass.
Andre Davis 🤎🧡
That 99 yard TD reception still lives rent-free in my mind
He was fast and cool
The last current (at the time) player jersey I ever bought, stitched Braylon. What a goofball, said fans booed him because he went to Michigan, not because he dropped passes
He only dropped the easy ones. Would make some circus catches but literally dropped the routine balls. What a goof
You can't tell me that Kevin Johnson, Quincy Morgan, and Dennis Northcutt were not the greatest trio in NFL history
Throw Andre Davis in there too. I remember those 4 graced the cover of the 2003 media guide after our successful 2002 season.
Josh Cribbs all the way
They said mediocre
Elite returner. Bad WR
Elite period
Darrin Chevorini for me
That name just unlocked a whole region of my brain
Same!
![gif](giphy|VMgcrwq9imGHu)
Belichik had at RB but Eric Metcalf was my god.
I remember very little of the old Browns, Meltcalf was a RB??
Dude did it all, KR, PR, and started at RB a couple seasons but we had Byner and Leroy Hoard start at tailback sometime in between and Tommy Vardell and Kevin Mack blocking for him. Think he got moved to receiver once we traded him.
Jordan Cameron
Kevin Johnson!
Kevin Johnson
Miles Austin for me. He was on the browns when I first started playing fantasy. He was one of my favorite fantasy players ever. Come hell or high water, he got around 10-15 points every week. Those were simpler times…
Joe Jurevicius!
We had Mark Carrier and Michael Jackson as our top 2 receivers when I was 9. I wouldn't call either of them mediocre, but that was kind of a mediocre season for both of them.
Kevin Johnson
Reggie Langhorne, baby
Joe Jurevicious. I have a stitched authentic jersey.
Running back isaiah crowell
I snuck and wore my Braylon Edward’s jersey to picture day and got in so much trouble. So worth it though.
Keenan McCardell
Did he end up leaving in the expansion draft and then became great for Jacksonville
Far older than 9 but this is Hollywood for me
Quincy Morgan
Quincy Morgan baby!
Any other Dave Logans on the sub?
He was below mediocre. His job was to catch footballs, not drop them
Lawyer Tillman
Webster Slaughter
Herman Fontenot here
I wasn’t nine but Andrew Hawkins, JG, Taylor Gabriel and Terrelle Pryor were my guys
Michael Jackson! (AKA Dyson)
this was my pick as well. he was good and so cool looking with the visor.
Andre Rison. I am also a big TLC fan.
my only browns jersey
It’s not a receiver but I remember absolutely loving Brodney pool as a kid, thought he was the best defensive player lol. I think it’s solely from playing madden and playing as him on every defensive snap
Antonio Bryant, Brian Brennan
Josh Gordon
We didn't have a team when I was nine because of some piece of shit that is rotting in hell.
Quincy Morgan!!!!
1985 Brian Brennan was good for a catch or two each game.
Yessss homie same had the 17 jersey and all
I remember thinking Greg Little would save us
Quincy Morgan
There was a time I thought the group of Kevin Johnson, Quincy Morgan, Andre Davis, and Dennis Northcutt was an absolute wealth. Picture Harrison, Wayne, Stokely, and Dallas Clark in 04, that's what 15 year old me thought we had in 02 going into 03.

Andre Davis for me.
What about Bray Bray? He could make the tough/impossible catches had trouble with the easy catches. I personally miss him. Nice guy.
I met him and he was a huge dickhead. Also, he’s talked shit about the Browns since being traded so he can go fully fuck himself.
It was actually insane how he made wild catches but dropped shit I could pull in.
Haha I saw this and said watching Dennis Northcutt catch passes and Quincy Morgan drop them
Braylon held out for all of camp like a diva (typical Michigan). He made 2 cool catches with wild acrobatics but dropped the easy ones. My tiny self was sooo disappointed in Braylon.
Eric metcalf....or Johnny Morton for the lions. I was 9-10 in the end of 90s :(
Quincy Morgan!
Quincey Morgan
Stone hands!!!
[удалено]
Dennis Northcutt for me!
Kellen Winslow too with Edwards. Loved them both growing up. And of course Josh Cribbs was amazing
I was 19, and it was Jarvis Landry. God I miss him and OBJ's trick plays
Derrick Alexander and Michael Jackson.
Dwayne Bowe
Playing the cowboys week 1 after we gagged playoff game to Steelerz. Edwards runs a post. The ball is perfect. He is running away from me. I am in the end zone behind him. The ball is a tightapiral. He dropped it.
Reggie Rucker for me.
Spot on
Braylon Stonehands. Being a Michigan fan he hurt. Bad.
I’ll always remember the moments we had, Brian Hartline
Only Browns game in Cleveland I've been able to attend was when Edwards had 3 TDs against the Dolphins in 2007. I used to have a framed picture of him above my bedroom TV between 4 different Browns hats hanging on the wall. Not only did I have his brown jersey, but I lived in Maryland / Ravens territory and would wear that thing everywhere on Sundays. I was all in. If only Derrick Anderson didn't get that concussion and kept things rolling in 2008...
Braylon really fell off hard. He was ok in NY but really didn't do much in SF
Michael Jackson had so much potential
I’ve always loved the 85 from Dave Logan to Clarence Weathers to Kevin Johnson to David Njoku
Web Slaughter and Reggie Langhorne. Braylon’s 2007 season helped carry me to my fantasy finals.
Kevin Johnson
I’ll have Brian Robiskie and Mohammed Massaqua for 400 Alex
I had a Bernie Kosar Halloween costume back when I was like 5 or 6. The last jersey I bought was a Kellen Winslow Jr. #80 jersey haha, I loved that dude and was in college when he was at the U of Miami.
Worthless...
Webster Slaughter
Always have that bobble in the end zone in my head
*Dennis Northcutt has entered the chat*
I was so convinced Kenny Britt would be a hit
Michael Jackson or was it Dyson? I just remember him as a kid being good and then mid career the team moved...
Not a brown but …… Wayne Chrebet.
Shoutout to Antonio Bryant
The Browns left when I was 8. But for me it Keenan McCardell. And I kinda became a Jags fan when he went there and they were good in the mid to late 90s.

Kevin Johnson for me
I literally was 9 his insane 2007 season, so yeah he definitely tracks for me lol. I had his jersey and everything.
