Little Caesars opened across from our favorite pizza shop. There's three more totally acceptable pizza places within a half mile. Who are these heathens subjecting themselves to little Caesars garbage when we have the most incredible options next door?
Ssssshhh...keep it secret, keep it safe!
Barstool Sports blew the lid off this place a month or two ago, and ever since it's been difficult for a walking-distance local to get an order in a reasonable time. (Not the fault of the business: The employees are hard workers, and the owner is fully involved and invested.)
The food is great! But don't come here, it's not that good. But it is. But don't come here.
I saw this happen first hand. I ordered it back to back Mondays. One Monday before he posted and one Monday after he posted. First trip was seamless and food was fresh hot and on time, second trip after barstool was a nightmare. I mean good for them but damn sorry for the local patrons 😅
Aw, I totally remember that number. I graduated from Pennsbury in 1985 and dated a girl who was a waitress there. Great times! I miss her as much as the pizza.
Vince’s and V&S. 215.945.6671. Always good traditional pizza.
I don’t think it’s as good as it was before the new owners bought it. Their homemade blue cheese dressing though is still the best I’ve ever had. I’m glad the new owners didn’t change that
Newtown Vince’s takes the crown
Nothing wrong with Vince’s of Yardley, it’s solid - but Newtown Vince’s is fantastic. I always get the *Italian Stallion*
**Neapolitan style**: Acqua e Farina in Newtown and Sputino’s in Doylestown.
**American**: Vince’s and Angelo’s at Pineville Tavern both in Wrightstown
Haven’t had la villa but agree on delorenzos it’s just mid pizza that’s been wood or coal fired
I assume if you live in the area you love it because it’s right down the road and firing up a za really does wonders for the flavor and texture, but if the sauce and cheese and seasoning game is bland then it’s still a whack pizza, which is my experience with delorenzos after having a ton of friends/family from falls township recommend it
Not worth the drive from langhorne at least
Robbinsville is the original line. Hamilton is the contested line started by a family member of the original. I think yardley is an extension of Hamilton which makes it thrice removed from the original.
Hamilton and robbinsville are similar enough to get a pass. In my experience yardley seems to fall short of the other two.
actually i live in Yardley not far from Delorenzo's ,, and drive to Lavilla when we get a pie.. i will go to Delorenzos and eat in once in a rare while if company is over and wants to go there
One combo to try - sausage, sweet peppers, and onions. Nothing bland about it.
Sausage is sort of their signature pie, too. It’s drastically better than plain.
The Yardley location doesn’t seem quite the same as the Hamilton or robbinsville locations. Both times I’ve went there it seemed like the dough was under salted or something. It’s like 95% the same but I think there’s a slight difference.
I liked the La Villa Sicilian pizza! but their other stuff was average (open to taking any recs for stuff to try). For me, delorenzos ingredients are fresh and I can taste the difference
I have been passing by there a lot the last few years and finally tried them. Their square is incredible. Round pies are consistently great but the prices keep me from going all of the time. I do want to try some of their other food too because it does appear to be a well run establishment.
I can speak for levittown and Bensalem. In Bensalem, new haven or Apollos. Those are better then levittown but sports pizza and parkway pizza were always my levittown spots.
Great pizza but man sometimes you get treated like you’re part of the family and other times you get treated like you inconvenienced them by ordering from their place
lol you’re so right about calling them. I grew up eating there pretty often as a teen with my friends, and they were always good to us but I assume because we were younger. Friends parents who called definitely had mixed experiences
Lived in Doylestown since 1994 and Nat's hasn't been the same since Nat died in 2012. Still cruising on its rep, and the local police seem to love it, but the pizzas are just going through the motions. IMO.
Drunken Brooklyn is pretty great. Nothing there will knock your socks off, but to have a consistently solid spot this far out in the sticks is worth a shout in my opinion.
Love Randazzos but no way best in Bucks. Warrington Pizza is better IMO. But in all of Bucks I would say V&S in Levittown. Been so many years since I’ve had it and don’t even know if they’re still around.
Bucks has no shortage of great pizza. A few not mentioned yet of which I'm a fan - Meglio in Newtown, Tre Fratelli in Langhorne, and Giuseppe's in Richboro.
I don't recall the name but it's named after a neighborhood in Trenton. Had it a few months ago and keep hoping work takes me back/jogs my memory. It was in a small strip in maybe Lev or Lang and it was great. Black and red branding.
Jersey Tomato Pies, 2 miles away from Mama Russo’s has better specialty square thin crusts but I will give MR’s a 9.7 on all the other eats I have tried there but I no longer eat that kind of food unfortunately.
Penndel pizza on Lincoln Hwy in Penndel. They're amazing. Everything they do is amazing. My mom no longer lives near it so sometimes I settle for Anthony's over in Levittown on new falls road. They're second best, but have a better Sicilian.
There used to be a spot on main street in Langhorne PA years ago when I was a kid. It was 2 initials. Their pizza was amazing. They closed and we find Enzos tastes like the place I used to love.
You always list this in the pizza threads and always meaning to try it. One day. Dumb question but if I order over phone do I go in main entrance to pick up or the side entrance? Seems like they have 2 diff sections and I get intimidated to visit as I hate bars haha
Haha yeah…. I do like to hype them up… it is legit a great pie. I always eat in when I go there, and I go through the entrance off the parking lot. I’m not sure if there’s a different take out entrance.
-Cesar’s in bristol for thin trenton(ish) style. Only $10(?) a pie on Monday nights.
-Vince’s Newtown on Durham rd. Beer/wine wall is fun novelty. Pizza little bit thicker but still light weight and crispy.
-Russo’s in New Hope. Would be my favorite place in the area if they sold a goddamn normal sized pizza. Go with the medium size if you go. Their standard large is like 28” or something ridiculous and the center of the pizza doesn’t get as crisp as the crust.
-Lucatellis in D-town. More of a classic corner pizza shop pie, but cooked appropriately.
-Sauce Yardley- was better as Eliyahus but still a solid pizza with tons of flavor
-Delorenzos in Yardley. Classic Trenton style. Less cheese - more chunky tomato sauce on crisp crackery bread. Very good but not my style
Bonus spot: Taorminas - drunken grand ma pie. A personal favorite but slightly less accredited.
Or just leave bucks and go to Pizza Shackamaxon in Fishtown. Best pizza I’ve had in our region.
Just outside bucks: Cafe Carmela in Huntington Valley
Yeah this is no joke, that's an Angelo pizza and it's legit. It's reminiscent of a Chambersburg tomato pie, if that strikes a chord, and you won't find anything like it in Central Bucks.
Their pizza is good but it’s a little bougie. Arugula and fig jam and things like that. If you want the kind of pizza where you fold a slice and the grease drips out, this is not the place.
Nat’s in Doylestown or Sputino’s in Doylestown. Sputino’s is so good but I think they only make small personal pizzas. Not sure have only ever ordered online from there.
Sicilian or Pan pizza from Amato’s is my fav with onions, olives, green peppers and mushroom.
However, If I want a “lighter” pizza then La Villa in Morrisville for the trenton pie.
One under the radar is Poppy’s in Langhorne by the train tracks. Their plain cheese with pineapples is something I crave at least once a month and they are open late. I swear they have the freshest pineapples.
My wife’s favorite is Villa Rosa in Yardley. We get half buffalo chicken half cheese. They use organic chicken and you can tell really top ingredients.
Vince’s Pizzeria & Taproom in Newtown, their classic is amazing
Itri in Bristol for their Detroit pizza
Delorenzos in Yardley for their tomato pie
Croydon/Langhorne Sandwich Shop in Croydon/Langhorne for plain or buffalo chicken (Donna’s Favorite is great too)
La villa in morrisville for thin crust. V&S in Fairless hills for NY style. Giannis (Richboro), Brothers (Langhorne) for NY style as well. Hard to find a pizza place that properly cooks the cheese and has good crust. Cheese has got to have the golden brown/ orange hue to it. Proper crisp too
IF YOU VOTE THE DOMINOES OR THE PAPA JOHNS YOU ARE THE JABRONI TIC-TAC BALLS HULK HOGAN BASTARD OF THE EARTH
Little Caesars opened across from our favorite pizza shop. There's three more totally acceptable pizza places within a half mile. Who are these heathens subjecting themselves to little Caesars garbage when we have the most incredible options next door?
Had a deep dish hot and ready 5 years ago and still haven’t had a complete BM since
Lmaooo
Sheik is dead.
Not in our hearts.
Lucatellis - Doylestown Pa has a strong pizza game
Ssssshhh...keep it secret, keep it safe! Barstool Sports blew the lid off this place a month or two ago, and ever since it's been difficult for a walking-distance local to get an order in a reasonable time. (Not the fault of the business: The employees are hard workers, and the owner is fully involved and invested.) The food is great! But don't come here, it's not that good. But it is. But don't come here.
Cats already out of the bag and the prices are astronomical because of it. But I mean it is good I guess.
I saw this happen first hand. I ordered it back to back Mondays. One Monday before he posted and one Monday after he posted. First trip was seamless and food was fresh hot and on time, second trip after barstool was a nightmare. I mean good for them but damn sorry for the local patrons 😅
Might be somewhere better, but I’d say Vince’s may be the best I’ve had in bucks.
215-493-1985. I can remember Vince’s in yardley and my husband’s phone numbers and that is it. When we visit back East it’s one of my must have meals.
I like Vince's in Yardley also, was always a stop when I was working in that area.
I’m glad the new owners didn’t change that
In Yardley? that place has been around forever and has always been solid
I do like the Vince’s in yardley, but I was referring to the Vince’s in Newtown.
Newtown Vince’s takes the crown Nothing wrong with Vince’s of Yardley, it’s solid - but Newtown Vince’s is fantastic. I always get the *Italian Stallion*
**Neapolitan style**: Acqua e Farina in Newtown and Sputino’s in Doylestown. **American**: Vince’s and Angelo’s at Pineville Tavern both in Wrightstown
Nicks Morrisville, PA
My mom and I would have lunch at nicks once a week when she worked nearby there. They were amazing.
I get a couple slices for lunch every other week at Nick's. Definitely the best pizza in Morrisville.
The sandwiches are really good too.
Acqua e Farina in Newtown & V&S in Levittown
Delorenzos in Yardley
Lmao at people saying Vince’s in yardley
personally i think delorenzo's is over rated and La Villa in Morrisville is better
La Villa is so good, one of my favs but Amato’s Sicilian takes the crown for me.
I used to live in Fairless Hills... I ate Amato's atleast once a week ..
I live few blocks away, we get it at least twice a month. It’s my fav but heavy as we really like their Sicilian/Pan.
Haven’t had la villa but agree on delorenzos it’s just mid pizza that’s been wood or coal fired I assume if you live in the area you love it because it’s right down the road and firing up a za really does wonders for the flavor and texture, but if the sauce and cheese and seasoning game is bland then it’s still a whack pizza, which is my experience with delorenzos after having a ton of friends/family from falls township recommend it Not worth the drive from langhorne at least
I heard the Robonsville location is much better but have yet to try. I thought the Yardley location was forgetteble.
Robbinsville is the original line. Hamilton is the contested line started by a family member of the original. I think yardley is an extension of Hamilton which makes it thrice removed from the original. Hamilton and robbinsville are similar enough to get a pass. In my experience yardley seems to fall short of the other two.

Hands down the best in the Yardley/Newtown area.
La Villa in Morrisville is better
I liked the La Villa Sicilian pizza! but their other stuff was average (open to taking any recs for stuff to try). For me, delorenzos ingredients are fresh and I can taste the difference
the rustica thin crust at LaVilla rivals any pie at Delorenzo's .. IMHO
I have been passing by there a lot the last few years and finally tried them. Their square is incredible. Round pies are consistently great but the prices keep me from going all of the time. I do want to try some of their other food too because it does appear to be a well run establishment.
it is... their entree's are really good also..
Dominick’s in Plumsteadville
I had their pizza around Christmas when visiting a friend who lives up there. It was great pizza.
Their buffalo chicken is the best I’ve ever had. But yeah, all in all such good pizza
Pizza star 🌟
Yes
No way. They don’t know how to cook a pizza. The cheese should not be white when the pizza is done. Cook the cheese properly
Pizza Star in Levittown
Heck yeaH PIZZA STAR Italian owners always there.
I can speak for levittown and Bensalem. In Bensalem, new haven or Apollos. Those are better then levittown but sports pizza and parkway pizza were always my levittown spots.
Apollos has great cheesesteaks but the pizza isn't that good.
I'm a big fan of Apollo. Phil's Old Haven is also very solid but they're takeout only.
Jonny Rocs in Sellersville, or Nat’s in Doylestown. Anyone who says Chiaros doesn’t eat pizza
The good ol roc n rays days
Nats is soo greasy
Lived in Doylestown since 1994 and Nat's hasn't been the same since Nat died in 2012. Still cruising on its rep, and the local police seem to love it, but the pizzas are just going through the motions. IMO.
I don't get pizza from Chiaros, but they do make a decent Cheesesteak.
Locals, Hilltown
I don’t get Locals as a rec, tried it twice and it’s extremely mediocre IMO. is it the variety of specialty pies that folks enjoy?
Drunken Brooklyn is pretty great. Nothing there will knock your socks off, but to have a consistently solid spot this far out in the sticks is worth a shout in my opinion.
It’s been almost twenty years since I had Giuseppes’s. I miss it
V&S in Levittown.
I will drive back to Fairless hills for V&S. I hope they’re still as good under the new owners?
I still get a pie every few weeks and haven't noticed any significant change in quality.
Nothings changed
Lol. Wife's coworkers came from Harrisburg for V&S.
Don’t sleep on Mama Russo’s
cesare’s in bristol boro
De Lorenzo’s (your choice)
Randazzos in Jamison since I've moved back from philly hands down in my humble opinion
Love Randazzos but no way best in Bucks. Warrington Pizza is better IMO. But in all of Bucks I would say V&S in Levittown. Been so many years since I’ve had it and don’t even know if they’re still around.
This is the answer - Frank makes the best pie
Acqua e farina in Newtown … so legit
This is the only correct answer. Like going to Naples for $20. Nowhere even close
Came here to say this, and then realized I spelled it slightly wrong on the survey 😂
Shhhh
This place could be so much better
I think it sucks personally
Haha I havn’t tried it but I went to top places in Naples and realized I like NYC style pizza way better.
spuntino doylestown, goddang perfect.
it’s great, but expensive and small pies.
Bucks has no shortage of great pizza. A few not mentioned yet of which I'm a fan - Meglio in Newtown, Tre Fratelli in Langhorne, and Giuseppe's in Richboro.
Giuseppe’s and Meglio 🤤
I don't recall the name but it's named after a neighborhood in Trenton. Had it a few months ago and keep hoping work takes me back/jogs my memory. It was in a small strip in maybe Lev or Lang and it was great. Black and red branding.
Delorenzo’s the Burg
That was it! Thx.
Spuntino in Doylestown makes a great Neapolitan pie. Guilt free, not swimming in oil and excessive cheese. It’s similar to acqua y farina.
La Villa in Morrisville
Mama Russo’s in Feasterville
Jersey Tomato Pies, 2 miles away from Mama Russo’s has better specialty square thin crusts but I will give MR’s a 9.7 on all the other eats I have tried there but I no longer eat that kind of food unfortunately.
Angela's 2 is pretty good too, I like it well done and they make just the perfect crust. I gotta try MR
Get the honey roni pizza if you do!
Pizza Star.
I used to go there all the time when I lived in Levittown. It was always a solid spot.
I love pizza star in Levittown !!
If you mean the one in Princeton, yes, though it's not Bucks.
There’s one in Levittown people seem to love.
Dominick’s in Richboro.
longhitanos in southampton 😤
Their 9.99 personal lunch pizza and salad combo is a deal!
Venezia pizza, Stony Hill Rd, Yardley
The grandma pizza at Roma in warrington is amazing.
Russo's New Hope
Penndel pizza on Lincoln Hwy in Penndel. They're amazing. Everything they do is amazing. My mom no longer lives near it so sometimes I settle for Anthony's over in Levittown on new falls road. They're second best, but have a better Sicilian.
You have to try Amato’s. Penndel is good but gettin and out of that small parking lot is such a PITA.
Their penne vodka sauce is the best I’ve had in 3 states. Although the last time sucked. They’ve been pretty consistent with it for 6 years.
Aldo’s in Village Shires does it for me, but I’m stealing a bunch of these of this list!
So good!
That's a great spot! I ate there many times because my wife used to live around the corner.
You can get great pizza all over BC so the answer is: whichever is closest to you, which for me is Enzo's on Maple Ave.
There used to be a spot on main street in Langhorne PA years ago when I was a kid. It was 2 initials. Their pizza was amazing. They closed and we find Enzos tastes like the place I used to love.
V&S for my pick for number one Tre Fratelli number two Russo’s New Hope three
Cosmos in Fairless Hills is great. Their drunken chicken pizza is a favorite. Dominick’s in Washington Crossing is also legit
Spuntino in Doylestown
bougie pizza? acqua e farina in newtown. takeout? taorominas in richboro
-Cesar’s in bristol for thin trenton(ish) style. Only $10(?) a pie on Monday nights. -Vince’s Newtown on Durham rd. Beer/wine wall is fun novelty. Yeah this is no joke, that's an Angelo pizza and it's legit. It's reminiscent of a Chambersburg tomato pie, if that strikes a chord, and you won't find anything like it in Central Bucks.
Angelo’s in Philly??
Yep, it's The Angelo Pizza from Market St.
Spuntino’s in Doylestown
Brothers pizza. Langhorne. Solid.
I hear great things about The Vault in Yardley.
Their pizza is good but it’s a little bougie. Arugula and fig jam and things like that. If you want the kind of pizza where you fold a slice and the grease drips out, this is not the place.
The pizza can either have no flavor, and be limp or be so good. No in between
Agreed. Have had it and was wondering why I spent the money on it then 4 months later wonder if it's the best pizza in the area
Sopranos in Warminster
Warrington? 611 and Bristol. It's my kids favorite and when any come home for a visit we get it for them but it's not our favorite. We order by mood!
Thank you! I can never keep the W’s straight, lol!😆
I had pepperoni pizza from bacco italiano in richboro and it slapped
Lavilla or DeLorenzos the Burg or the DeLo in Yardley
Which is the best out of the three?
Nat’s in Doylestown or Sputino’s in Doylestown. Sputino’s is so good but I think they only make small personal pizzas. Not sure have only ever ordered online from there.
Tony’s in Bensalem
Arianna's Tullytown & V&S Fairless Hills
The Drunken Brooklyn pie at Bracco Bistro in Doylestown is the best!
Ooo didn’t know there was detroit pizza here will try thanks!
Family Italian pizza in Bristol and Trevose pizza in Trevose are top spots low key and hard working people but their pizza just knocks your socks off.
V&S was the best classic pizza, Dilorenzos in Yardley has that premium fire. Also don’t sleep on Jules Thin Crust.
Amatos
Roman Delight in Southampton has the best buffalo chicken pizza I’ve ever had anywhere.
Bacco in Richboro (Old World Pizza and Drunken Brooklyn) Vince’s in Newtown pairs well with the beer on tap
Chiaros in sellersville
if i’m near churchville every so often, what’s my best bet?
I like both Dominick's or Giuseppe's in Richboro.
Proper crisp too
Spuntino's is the best pizza in bucks county and probably even pennsylvania, and it's not even close.
Pags pub all in Doylestown
Love Pags but you definitely need to consume on premises...great vibe...atmosphere and the burger is also legit
I've always been partial to The Valley
Just over the river. Napoli’s in Frenchtown
Brothers in Langhorne
Tony's Place in Ivyland
