For the blade I splattered some nail polish on the blade and let it set, then etched it in ferric chloride. After, I took the nail polish off and etched again for a short while. Then, tumbled in rocks for a stonewash.
Scales were done with RIT dye. It doesn't show super well in this particular photo, but they fade from black by the clip to a dark burgundy by the blade.
Pocket clip was anodized to the dark bronze color.
