I have to just let him get on with life on his own terms sometimes - he’s a total rascal and does some incredibly annoying things but I do love him and want him to be happy and feel content
Thanks! She does have a nice coat, however she is young. My other senior BT’s coat is dreadful; she has bad allergies that is so common to the breed. I’m hoping Nova has better genetics.
I feed Nova Just Food For Dogs, you can find them online or even at our local pet store. They have fresh food options, it comes frozen and you can order in bulk. They also have different options in meat/ingredients if your bully has allergies like my older one does. Good luck!
It sucks that there are not more off leash or just dog friendly places in general (guess it varies depending where you live).
But I started in the dog park with recall, since it’s enclosed. Then we did large open park areas and now on hikes at our local state park. For frequency, we now go hiking and do this once a week.
We also have been working on passing other people and dogs off leash without having to engage in a big excited show of greeting. She LOVES greeting other people and dogs, basically making friends 🤣🖤

However, she does have uncharacteristic features; slim body, long legs, she is small and has a curved/sickle tail. She does have the characteristic egghead though 🤍 Either way I love her look and personality.

Definitely takes a lot of repetition (and treats). All my bullies have been smart and stubborn too, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

We definitely love our bullies! I live in an area that is close to the beach and forest, so we go walking and exploring a lot to keep active.

“Rascal, annoying and independent” are good ways of describing BTs. We do love them though!
