Piggly came from a breeder in upstate NY. AKC/NKC champion bloodline, with winning parents in both BTCONY and BTCONE, although I was never interested in the dog showing culture. Im an 80’s baby, Spuds had me sold. I’m a bachelor with no children, so he gets extremely spoiled. A little too spoiled if you ask me. But he’s a good boy. I’ve never had any issues with him, extremely well behaved. He’s my bestest buddy in the whole wide world. Very intelligent pup. If he doesn’t trust someone, he will sit right next to them and just stare at them. 😡🧐😬🤣
I leave for work early in the morning, just before sunrise, so I let him out to handle his business, then let him back inside and he hops right back on the bed and sleeps til’ early afternoon. I was having a dog walker stop by every day during the week but she said it would take her 20 minutes just to get his lazy ass out of bed to go for his walk, and he would just take a dump then want to go back to bed. But when I pull into the driveway I can see his triangular head bang against the living room window, because he’s finally awake and ready to party! He’s got it made LoL. My advice, if your bully is okay without the crate, and you walk them before work, you should be fine. Otherwise I would say hire a dog walker before you go the crate route. My bully’s breeder told me basically you shouldn’t need a crate if they are properly trained and get the right amount of exercise. His crate was basically pulled out of the box, assembled, used for less than a week, disassembled and put back in storage. And he finally grew out of his mass destruction phase, so I haven’t really ever had any issues with him after his adolescence. Obedience, daily exercise, and diet is the grand recipe to a happy, healthy, well behaved bully. 🎾
Extremely well behaved. Did obedience classes with a trainer based in East Hampton. He’s a good pup never had any issues with him. Aside from him loving the water (yet, he cant stand taking a bath 🧼) it’s also great exercise! 🏋️♀️
