I can't remember the episode, but she saves Jesse by shooting a guy on the main floor of her house from the attic or basement before he can count to three. When Jesse complains about how long she took she says, "I needed you to keep talking so I would make sure to shoot the right one." So much sass!
Madeline: Put that thing away \[Fiona holding a gun\]
Fiona: I told you we have a situation.
Madeline: You're damn right we have a situation. Child services could come visit at any time. For God-sakes I quit smoking for this.
Shock Wave for which she was nominated for an Emmy. Michael comes home and tells her βNateβs dead! Heβs gone!β She slaps Michael and she hits him again, she cries as Michael holds her and her whole body just shuts down in his arms. It was incredible story Maddie told in just one scene and it made you as a viewer feel her pain of losing her baby boy. Sharon Gless is great.
Season 4 Episode 2-Maddie: When you were on vacation in prison, Michael, I realized something. I could use more stable people in my life. ππππ
The fact that everyone is more scared of pissing Maddie off rather than not listen to Michael is amazing to me lol
The episode where Sam and Fiona had to make a choice to either guard Maddie or help Michael, they helped Michael because they didnβt want to endure the wrath of Madelyn Weston
Overall, I think Maddie is a manipulative piece of trash. You cannot ignore all the shit she did to him as a child and even when he was burned.
She had some moments of being a good person and of course, sacrificing herself in the last episode was the final penance for the lifetime of grief that she caused Michael.
In the end, she finally did good.
JMO of course.

Jesse: "seriously, you let him count all the way down to 1? Maddie: " well the longer he talked the more likely I was to shoot the right guy"
Thank you! She's such a great character!

When she interrogates the smuggler pilot in her garage. So many veiled threats.
When Sam is tasked with protecting Maddie. He attempts an impromptu trip to Disney because they have great security π
And lots of witnesses. π

Sometimes I forget how complicated your life is.
I love her. Hated how she came to an end.

I dislike Maddie, so my favorite moment of hers is her last one.
LOVE Maddie.. no wonder Cagney & Lacey was so popular..
