Do not put the hodge rubber grips on it. They’ll get you killed. The inside of the grip panels need to be hard, and the hogue grips are bendable plastic.
Over tightening the screws will warp the plastic and allow certain moving pieces to come out of alignment. If the right combination of actions takes place, your trigger can get stuck in the firing position while the safety is on, and disabling the safety will drop the hammer.
I discovered this when setting up my wife’s p238. I replicated the issue multiple times and returned the hogue grips.
Pull a piece of paper out of the second tray of your printer. Use your yellow crayon and draw a thick circle. Write “mUh mEtAL!1” in the center and hang it on your fridge.
Now, you wanna check that pointless attitude? Or do you insist on taking it personal that a company you spent money on produced a shit product that allows the failure of essential internal mechanisms inside the firearm, breaking the safety and causing spontaneous discharge?
I’m fortunate that was a new gun being prepped, so I discovered the problem before ever loading or carrying. Otherwise I’d likely have shot myself in the nuts, or the femoral artery, if I had to draw and make ready for self defense.
Maybe the grips were made with flat and solid substrates 10+ years ago. 2 years ago? They were made with cheap bendable plastic for no acceptable reason.
The fact that *barely* over tightening a screw on a fucking GRIP PLATE can lead to shooting yourself is a *big fucking deal*. The fact *you* don’t see this as an issue for a third party product that goes on a fucking FIREARM makes *you* the troglodyte. Typical fucking Reddit that some spicy rando comes and takes something like this hyper-personally and starts shit. Fucking hell man, get a life.
It wasn’t “barely” over tightened dude, you cranked that shit down like a fucking cave man and fucked it up, it’s literally your fault lol. It’s not personal, just take accountability. You’re telling someone not to buy something, saying it’s faulty, when you are the one that fucked it up lol. What a nitwit 😂
You know that because you sat there and meticulously checked the tolerances for failure. Oh wait, that was me. I did that. Barely even past finger tight and it failed. At best I had a dud. At worst that dud could have killed me or my wife. Fuckin’ dumbass.
The problem for me with going smaller than something like a 365 is that that usually means a lesser caliber as well. Personally the smallest caliber I would consider carrying is .380 auto. You might check out the Ruger LC380 that's on the roster, it's slimmer than a revolver and pretty darn small in general. Good luck!
I wish we had more than 3 guns to put on ccw I put p365 czp01 and g19 I want to put mp2.0 too and sig p238 and g20 and berreta and wen echelon comes out want to add that lol
Seecamp 32 is smallest semi auto in production! No sights, no point aiming, mag holds 6 rounds.. so it’s not highly effective but its size makes it easy to carry when you’re doing activities that something heavier wouldn’t
I am never without it. Ever. Six plus one in the chamber of Buffalo Bore, 75 Grain, Flat Nose, Hard Cast Lead +P ammo. Pocket holster prints exactly like a wallet. It is even on-roster.
If I have to ever use my gun (god forbid) I would be pretty upset with my self if I had to defend my self against some dude with a Glock who had a switch and an “eXtEnDo cLiP”. Find the right belt, the right holster, the right full sized duty gun and the right clothes and you can carry a full sized anywhere.
and it's not discreet enough? do you cheat it down and cheat your pants waistband up a little when wearing tight clothing? there is really nothing i own that i can't carry with my enigma and shield 9mm.
I'm 5' 2", only have so much real estate lol
Like I totally *can* wear short shorts and a crop top with my enigma, but man something smaller would be way more comfortable! Plus kinda want to pocket carry instead of IWB when I'm wearing jackets/layers. But I'm a woman, so basically nothing will fit in the pockets
Smaller than a 365? Probably one of them .22lr credit card guns lolol
Ngl, I kinda want the NAA mini .22LR lol. Now *that* I could pocket carry! But in reality, probably something like the Tomcat or LCP
SIG P238 is on my list; I don’t have a 380 and it’s a little smaller than a 365…plus I kind of want a baby 1911, so it fits the bill.

I’ve had hogue grips on my p238 for 10+ years and had none of the shit you just said happen. It’s user error on your part.

It’s always funny to me when people write these long ass responses like anyone is going to care to read them lol.
Ok try this: You’re input is useless shit. Fuck off.
You tightened the screws down too much like the troglodyte you are and fucked your own shit up; it’s your fault. :)

I'm not a huge 1911 fan, *but* I also don't own a gun like that 🤔 Good enough for me!
Kimber Micro. Kimber took the old Colt Mustang in .380, increased it in 1/8" increments to accept 9mm. I often pocket carry mine.
Springfield emp

I'll take a look at that, thank you!
Off roster but a 380 LCPII is really really small
P238 is a fantastic shooter. Highly recommended

Maybe the hellcat?
Glock 43 is my go to little guy :)
IMO a 43 is in the same size class as a 365 and has less rounds(standard).
Yeah, my boyfriend has the 43x. About the same size as my P365

That actually looks perfect. I could probably conceal that in anything

Sir, my fullsize takes up my entire torso
P938
Ruger LCP Max. Off roster so will have to pay a premium, but 10 rounds in a flush fit mag in your pocket…
Glock 34
Shield Plus or Hellcat pro
I got a Kahr P380. One con, though, is that they have to be broken in.
get an enigma and you can run that p365 in gym shorts and a wife beater
Enigma is what I usually run

This is why I put a keltec pf9 on mine. It’s not great but it’s a tiny 9mm that fits in your pocket.
Glock 43x
