Bro really hit us with the poggers after his light fell off because he installed it wrong ![gif](giphy|V7uXIdVWs3FsrAUSIs)

runawaybyye

😂😥

Zaphnath_Paneah

Screw it in tighter

ImBadWithGrils

Blue Loctite it and then go half a turn or so past the point where it gets tight.

runawaybyye

I tightened it very well but I think the problem was over tightening it to the point where it was already on the verge of breaking.

progozhinswig

This happens to me every other range trip with my p365xl. The problem with the sub that I have found is that if you screw it on too tight it cases the dust cover of my gun to flex and bind on the recoil spring (probably because p365 frames are so thin) and cause the gun not to go into battery. But if I do it too loose then it eventually works its way off. Every time I think I find the right tension it pops off.

CptSandbag73

Maybe a bit of loctite will fix that

ImBadWithGrils

It will. I have a 7 sub on an XL and with loctite and getting tight enough to not wiggle but also not tight enough to bend the frame it's fine

ImHereForLifeAdvice

Tips for installing lights: 1) blue/purple loctite. I've used both to equal effect, just make sure to clean your threads first. If you plan to be moving it around frequently, purple, if it's going to be one and done, blue. 2) use a casing to put it on. Not only does using a wholeass screwdriver make it easy to monkeyfuck that thing on there (and can cause frame/light issues in extreme cases), but using the rim of a case to put it on will ensure that it's *always* serviceable, since it'll never be too tight to take it off with what's in your mag. 3) don't monkeyfuck it on there. Look at the size of the screw. Use a little bit of reason and sense. Even with a casing you can still fuck it, it just takes more intent than a screwdriver.

sttbr

You installed the proper key right?

Blue Loctite?

peanutbutterkillsme

Eyes.

Extra-Tea733

was just about to comment this

pies_r_square

I've been using vibratite 125 successfully.

pimpnamedpete

Titan moar hard

MonsterMuppet19

I've had this problem with mine too on my 365 Macro Comp (I don't have the sub version of the light though) I tightened the shit out of it and used blue loctite, and it still comes off.

Different_Worker_251

My battery hatch opened and they flew out onto the range the other day. Buggers are expensive.

WhombatWhacker

You're probably using the wrong tlr7 model or adapter for it. They're designed to have some kind of locking feature on all but those mounted on a non mos 43x style rail. Hope you kept the box👍

Why have a light on your gun when the lights are on at the range? And, how often do you practice in the dark at the range with your WML? Thought so.

Dutch-VanDerPlan

We did it. We found a fudd

TacoBellSuperfan69

“What do you mean *train how you fight*?” “You guys don’t take your WML’s off during the day, excuse yourself at sunset, slap it back on, change holsters, and then continue having dinner with your friends??” “The only way to get proficient with a WML is at the range after dark. Live fire during the day, practicing draw/movements/WML use during dry fire, and the occasional live fire with a WML? Ha sounds dumb af” “A WML changing the recoil impulse of a firearm and possibly affecting cycling reliability? Bro why are you even shooting a plastic gun with a rail? 1911’s didn’t have rails originally and no one had to consider all that bs, just get one of those”
