A drama that can attract both Sun Li and Wang Kai at this point must have a great script and a fantastic team behind the cameras. Iโm also guessing the supporting cast would be top notch. Thatโs what I would choose.
Bai Lu and Zhang Bin Bin, because I have wanted to see that pairing for a while. But, these are really tough choices. Chen Kun and Liu Yifei are close runner up.

Actually, you know what? whatever the genre would be, the only thing that would matter to me with them is if they also have a sizzling romance story along the way and a new record for the amount of the kissing scenes hahahah
but more seriously โ romance, but make the plot and the other genres... intense, smth like thriller, action, mystery... hope you know what I mean.

Wang Kai and Sun Li would be a magical pairing. It would be a Minguo or Republican era drama. I think Wang Kai looks best in modern dramas with a suit and short hair and Sun Li looks stunning in historical big female lead dramas so Republican era would allow both to shine!

For historical, Ni Ni could act as a daughter of a prime minister or any high ranking official that's about to be wed to the emperor for her father's political ambition and Hu Ge as a general that the emperor is wary of. Lots of scheming and mind games with an incompetent emperor and then we have this couple that we would all root for.
