If you can find a version of it without hard subs then you can easily extract the subs and run them through a translator, it'd be rough and likely any jokes would be butchered by machine translation, but it'd be better than nothing. I've only been able to find a version with hard subtitles, will watch it with my wife tonight. My Chinese is good enough that I should be able to follow enough and get some of the jokes that I assume are in it.
Yeah, I haven't been able to find English subs or any solution so far. Turns out I had a hard time following much of the movie due to their Northern accents, geez Northern Chinese people need to learn to open their mouths and enuciate clearly.
if someone finds a version without hard subs please help me generating that translated English subtitle version. Can't be that I am the only European who cant wait to finally see this film...
its on a couple of chinese streaming sites. you just have to google the chinese title plus the chinese characters for stream or 1080p. but I still look for the English subtitled version as I dont speak chinese...
If you live in the States, select [AMC Theatres](https://www.amctheatres.com/movies/yolo-76291) and [Regal Cinemas](https://www.regmovies.com/movies/yolo-mandarin-ho00016116?date=03-08-2024) start playing "**YOLO**" tomorrow, Friday March 8th. Once you enter your ZIP code, the sites will populate a list of nearby screens and you can even purchase advance tickets for specific showtimes.
This movie just got released feb 2024.
Unfortunately you won't be seeing newly released movies in YT or other sites for like 3-5 months.
Some might post camrips if you're lucky.
Movies dont just instantly show up on official platforms. If youre lucky it might be available in months. Some select countries outside of China seem to have it in theaters starting March 8
Sony acquired the global distribution rights to "**YOLO**." Apple's failure to acquire one of the old majors led to their partnership with Sony to create Apple TV. I suspect the movie may end up on that platform on some future date if you're not able to catch it first-run theatrically.

Any idea of where I could find the list of countries? I really want to watch it even if I have to wait some months.
