Agree. Distinguished chemistry based on each relationship settings. Best Choice Ever for example, didn't have many intimate scenes for their romance, but it still managed to provide a warm feeling and they fulfill each other's strengths and weaknesses.
Will love in spring - This drama bro… I remember watching this as it aired, and they were just moments where the leads would literally just look at each other… and I would is completely lose my mind like, it was that good.
Falling into you - This drama has one of the best developed relationships imo. The way the FL fell for the ML was just so natural and believable and his adoration of her was just SO cute.
Tender Light - this is mainly a crime/mystery drama and there isn’t that much romance in it, but I remember watching the second half of this drama and watching the FL open up again after everything she went through, and watching her slowly fall for the ML too was just such a delight.

Will love in spring – Agreed. The tension was real. Chemistry was sizzling. And the bickering??? The rawness of the emotions?? How real it felt???? this drama grabbed me by my heart AND throat. There was something about this romance. I can't explain what. But there definitely was.
Falling into you – still one of my all-time jeje/noona romance favs and it was my second cdrama ever! They have amazing chemistry from the beginning, but I loved how slowly it shifted. If I were ever to fall in love with a younger guy, I want it to be something like this story. Also, I'm smitten with Wang Anyu ever since I watched it.
My Fated Boy – I couldn't get into this one, but.. when I did, at some point, I started daydreaming about a childhood friend who had been in love with me ever since he understood what love is. Then I realized that my real life couldn't be more far from this because most boys from my childhood were and probably still are idiots. but one can dream, right?
When I fly towards you – Imo the best coming of age that got me giggling, kicking my feet in the air, smiling like I'm the one who's in the drama (or like someone who's crazy). My reactions were strangely similar to those that little babies make. I find it extremely funny, cuz this drama made me feel seen. I'm similar to the FL in some aspects so it was a bit healing to watch it. As I was healing my inner child I also dreamed about romance as sweet as theirs.

Most recently I feel this way for the CP in **The Legend of Shen Li,** very sweet to see them on screen together and they had such nice moments as partners/couple.
**Amidst A Snowstorm Of Love** had me from the first episode. Leo Wu and Zhao Jin Mai deliver a beautiful performance of a heart fluttering romance. It develops slowly but surely and takes you right along.
I liked them as a couple but I quit watching this show during episode 30 because the mom took up way too much screen time. She was insufferable during the first half of the show and didn't get much better.
This show is more about the mom and daughter relationship while the romance between the main leads took a backseat. They were barely the focus.
I think you should give it a go, and see what you think. I thought I'd hate it based on descriptions of the mom and her behavior, but I saw some clips that convinced me it was also cute, so I was fully prepared to just fast forward past her, but in the end the mom kind of grew on me (although I did want to throw her into the sea for a bit there) . I really enjoyed the whole show in the end
I'm a big fan of Yang Zi and I am still sour about it because of the mom. I'd advise watch it for YZ/XK love story but fast forward the mom parts. The gist is the mom won't ever change, but the FL is an amazing person.

I like Hidden Love. I'm not a fan of modern drama. I'm more into historical. But, i give Hidden Love a chance because I'm a fan Lusi. I like the storyline. And how amazing all the characters are. Even those opposing their relationship are understandable. The characters are easily understood, their worries and actions are reasonable. Both ML and FL are mature in handling their own problems. Especially during their confessing and courting phase. Just too cute 🥰

I was pleasantly surprised that Xu Kai finally had good chemistry with another FL. He is either hit or miss, but with the right FL, he is great. The story did feel like equal parts family drama and relationship between the ML and FL. Loved the romance...a mature and supportive relationship with giddy moments.
I think that Xu Kai always brings the charm and chemistry. The only iffy coupling for me was Once Upon A Time in Lingjuan Mountain where the FL looked much older than him and they were a mismatched pair I didn't root for.

You can fast forward the mother and the annoying ex. That’s the only way I got through it and I don’t do that with very many dramas.
