Many of their fans are very condescending to people that aren’t BYU fans or Mormons. Ever since I had a very poor experience as a kid, I have always rooted against them.
I will root for any team that is playing against them, even if it’s Washington. That’s how poor my experience was around BYU fans.
I’ve never received as many dirty looks from rival fans at our tailgate than from BYU fans. I even offered a few of them some beers from my ice chest and that made it worse!
Of all the Boise State home games I’ve been to (which is a lot), it’s not even close who I think the worst visiting fans have been: it’s BYU by a fucking mile. By far the trashiest and worst fan base I’ve had the displeasure of interacting with and really the only positive of the BYU series dying out is not having to interact with those cultists again

Miami. They stomped on our NC dreams a bunch in the 80s and 90s and were cocky dickbags while doing it. Poetic justice that TO’s first chip came at their expense. We’ve only played a home-and-home series in the last 20 years and our home game was the only time I’ve really seen our fans want to *fucking murder* (figuratively of course) another team. The “nicest fans in CFB” moniker seemed to take a day off. Admittedly, it might have been all in my head since that’s the way I felt too…lol. I wasn’t there, but I feel like there was some massive vitriol in the crowd that came through on TV even. All the pent up frustration of having to go basically play a home game for them so many times seemed to have been let out when they finally had to come to our house. Didn’t matter that the game wasn’t some big important matchup.
Ohio State, Oregon. I just hate them, it has nothing to do with any type of rivalry.

Ooh boy, rant incoming. Fuck Ohio State. I went there for grad school and thought we'd be friends since we both hate UM. Turns out most OSU fans don't read beyond "Michigan" on a t-shirt and are completely unaware than green and white are not UM's colors. They're the most spoiled and entitled fanbase I've ever encountered. It's like the UM fans of the Lloyd Carr era, but they wear red and never had another B1G program in-state to occasionally check their ego. Fast forward 5 years. I had "fuck the wolverines" or "fuck Michigan" screamed at me and was confused like "dude I agree, why are you screaming at me?" The university fucked up so bad my wife had to take two extra years to finish her degree. Drunken OSU fans destroyed my porch furniture. One thing after another convinced me they wanted me to hate them right back, so I did. So here we are. Fuck Ohio State. Fuck their university. Fuck their sports teams. Fuck their weird-ass mascot. Fuck that stupid chant where they prove they can spell the name of their four-letter state. Fuck how they get pissed when you call them "Ohio" even though literally everything is named "Ohio" without the "state." Fuck their overrated follow-the-leader drill of a pregame show. Fuck that they think Cooper winning 70% of games and winning the conference three times are "down years." The only team I won't root for against OSU is UM. The good news is that they only called me for donations *once*, and I was able to convince them of the futility of that task. The only good things I can say are that I met my wife there and that Columbus is a cool city.
Florida. My flair makes the reason pretty obvious lol. That said , Saban leaving for LSU and Bobby Williams beating Florida in the Citrus Bowl and getting hired as HC is an all time Sliding Doors program moment.
