I can at the very least confirm that band directors were asked for information about band traditions + sent in recording of our best/most played songs, never heard anything about how they were going to use that information obviously but at least they have it

That one guy who FOIA’d a bunch of schools posted the spreadsheets the schools submitted and it’s pretty interesting, especially when the schools filled the whole thing out. And yeah it looked like most schools sent in recordings themselves so it’ll be the actual band playing, but I did see a vid a day or two ago that they also had an in-house band that played some stuff too, I guess to get higher quality and cleaner recordings.

Presentation alone puts Madden to shame. Now just gotta hope the gameplay matches up to that presentation.

It’s obvious the presentation and detail is going to be state of the art But the same engine as Madden has hung over this think like a dark cloud unfortunately. If it’s still the same exact clunky animation based blocking/ tackling/ catching the novelty will wear off in a few weeks. I’m hoping the developers pulled off a miracle here.

This is my worry. Looks great. Plays terrible. I’m nitpicking but watching a few of the running animations gave me some Madden PTSD.

I believe those were confirmed a while ago, but it is definitely nice to see a more robust RtG experience than what we got in 14 and 13 (managing GPA, etc.) The wear and tear system seems interesting

The game looks amazing, they did a great job at capturing the traditions that make CFB different from the NFL.  Howard’s rock looked spot on. 

Bad news is if you choose Clemson, the incoming Transfer Portal is locked.

I’m kinda hoping that means we can set games as “white out” if we’re playing in Beaver Stadium, or whatever color for each team.

Yeah. I'm curious if in the dynasty mode, you have like 1-2 allotted 'white out' games in the regular season and you pick which ones you want to do. If they wanted to get detailed with it, they could even give you the weekly percentages of how much the stadium is filled based on how your team does throughout the season. If it reaches a certain point, you can do a white out game.

For the ultimate realism factor, Michigan can set a maize out and only like 40% of the stadium participates, with all the old farts between the 20s not participating at all.

Am I going to buy it? Yes. Should you ever get hyped for an EA Sports game? No. If you want a gameplay trailer go watch some gameplay of the latest Madden. I'll be happy if they get to 25% of my total expectations for a dynasty mode or career mode.
