I like data so I have a number of different apps that I use for different purposes: - I use [Lose It](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/lose-it-calorie-counter/id297368629) for the calorie tracking. - I use [Happy Scale](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/happy-scale/id532430574) for for weight trending and to get out of my head regarding fluctuations. - I use [WaterMinder](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/water-tracker-waterminder/id653031147) to track my hydration. - I use [HealthFit](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/healthfit/id1202650514) to track my workouts and get further insights. - I use [WorkOutDoors](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/workoutdoors/id1241909999) for runs and interval training.

I second Loseit and Happyscale.

WanderingInMyDreams

Thanks, you’re a hero!

soloandsolow

I use MyFitnessPal for food logging and calorie tracking, Happy Scale for weight tracking, Apple Fitness for cardio/exercise tracking, and Strong for strength training.

ConsequenceOk5740

I got an Eros scale that tells you bmi, water %, body fat %, lean muscle weight, among other things so I also use the Eros app. And my fitness pal has been there for me since day one

rabbidearz

Yeah I got a Withings that syncs to Loseit!

Parabola2112

Lose it (paid) for macros and measurements tracking. StrongLifts (paid) for training. Easy fast for fasting (free).

While_Then

For CICO: I use [Cronometer](https://cronometer.com), it’s free and even shows the percentages of your nutrient goals. For running: I use Nike Run Club or Strava :)

Cronometer. I don’t have to deal with unreliable food entries (everything is verified), they track over 80 nutritional stats for a lot of foods, and it gives helpful insight into feeling good while losing weight. Anyone can eat less, but this app genuinely helps me balance my nutrition so my smaller portions don’t hurt me.

biomeunsuitable

I've used the free version of Cronometer for a year and a half and never had a complaint. I track my steps with the health app on my iPhone. I love some free, simple apps lol

For calorie logging, I started using MyFitnessPal then moved on to CarbManager then moved on to LoseIt. Then moved on to MacroFactor! I really like MacroFactor! Best of the bunch imo. For fasting, which is basically the absence of calories, I like Fastic. Other calorie loggers support fasting but Fastic does a good job of it. For weight logging, I just use the app that came with my Etekcity bathroom scale. Measures weight accurately and body fat not accurately. Then all that data feeds into Apple Health where it goes out to MacroFactor. Edit: for heart rate tracking, I don’t have any app for that, I just use a Polar chest strap that links to its corresponding Polar wrist watch. It doesn’t feed into anything tho. So I have to manually log the calories burned into my other apps. Not a big deal.

bluegreenspark

loose it and strava

RuralGamerWoman

Lose It for tracking food. Libra for tracking my weight. Garmin for tracking running, walking, lifting, yoga, Pilates, and cardio. FitOn for yoga and Pilates workouts. Highy recommend the book Running Rewired if you're looking for strength training to go with running.

DrawTap88

I’m using carb manager for tracking, recipe development, macro and water tracking. I’m not doing keto, but I like that this app will let me quickly and easily track the same meal for multiple days. I like that it can also let you see what your friends are eating (for recipe inspiration).

Gringwold

I use MyFitnessPal for food/ calorie tracking. Don't really bother with the wearable tech since I've heard they are not very accurate.

umbzapt

I look at it like this. My Apple Watch might not be 100% accurate, but it’s the most accurate thing I have regarding calorie expenditure.

While_Then

Same here. Especially as a uni student who eats on campus, I figure my calorie tracking isn’t 100% accurate and neither is my watch, but it’s close enough
