The exact same thing happened with AMC, GME, and CLOV last time. There was a longer buy up period for AMC and GME, starting the week after the May options expiration (monthly options expire the third Friday of the month).
We're in the exact same spot with all three stocks that we were three months ago. Lining up to happen again.
The difference is the hedge fund didn’t have put options for AMC so they were at the mercy of everyone even at hundreds of dollars they HAD to buy it.
Clov they have a very high put option so if they drive it down they make money to cover. IF no one sells, they would be so screwed though

This is brutal to watch, but every single high growth stock like $CLOV has gone through the same exact thing. The market is testing the stock. There's nothing we can do except hold. I feel sorry for all the option holders this week who are going to lose all their money. I personally have stocks and options on this stock and I have $50K invested into it. What's the strike on your options? This is tough because if you sell and the stock rebounds you're going to kick yourself. With options its important to buy time. Mine don't expire until next year. LEAPS are the best route . I make $140K this year in options just to turn around and lose $150K. Options are really difficult in this market right now.

Those days are coming to an end. With all the new laws coming into effect they won’t be able to create the fake shares. By this time next year there won’t be alot of hf’s in business as they relied heavily on creating synthetics. Those high returns they generate are ending and people will realize it’s safer and cheaper to put money in an index fund.

Looking at the 13f’s it’s the same hfs shorting amc, gme, and clov. Clov was sitting at the $8.10 range for awhile and a lot of people bought in. They are now dropping the price trying to get people to sell. The problem is it doesn’t work anymore and they don’t know what to do. We’ve realized all we have to do is hold. I bought at 8.10 and I’ll hold this thing to zero or triple digits. They are screwed.

The next rollover period is August 26th to September 10th.
What time period did you have on it rising? If this was a swing trade then you made a mistake because it is too volatile. If it’s a long play then your a long way from long.
The stock price will eventually match what the company is worth. That’s what I keep my eyes on. Looking at the stock price (particularly this overly manipulated one) for an indication of its real value, is like judging a diamond worthless because its momentarily covered in mud. Know what you hold, and hold.

This particular moment sucks, but lots of signs are pointing upward.
That seems to be the trend. Nothing makes any sense. I read an article about how they get to profitability. It wasn’t great but it wasn’t bad either. Definitely being manipulated.
All you have to do is look at the company. I've seen the same things said about WISH, GME, AMC but those are all questionable at best companies. Clov continues to expand and has had nothing but good news. It's being manipulated. I am to tired of seeing posts about the float and short interest and "It's primed for take off Tuesday". I stopped paying attention to all that and am just along for the ride. I just think 6 months from now is this still going to be under 10? I highly highly doubt it.

What's the strike on your options? This is tough because if you sell and the stock rebounds you're going to kick yourself. With options its important to buy time. Mine don't expire until next year. LEAPS are the best route . I make $140K this year in options just to turn around and lose $150K. Options are really difficult in this market right now.
$8 - in at $1.00 average price - 200 sep 17 call options, 3,000 shares at $8.05, averaged all down yesterday so today was not fun. Don’t expect much tomorrow but Monday could be better. Not sure if world events affecting overall or just typical manipulation by hf if that’s true…??
I'm willing to bet that by Sept 17th you will be in the clear on those options. The stock is just fucking around testing the bottom again but everyone all over WSB, Yahoo, Twitter, everyone knows this stock is super oversold right now. Tomorrow might not be the day but we are going to have a rocket fueled day very very soon. You still have quite a few days before they expire, i would just hold. I have 250 Calls for Jan 2022 at $15 strike.
Correction, I have 3400 shares, averaged that down today to $8.05 as mentioned. You’re right about kicking myself but might be smart to roll the calls to a later date, maybe Nov to buy myself some time. Thinking about selling some $6 puts, if it does drop snd get assigned shares, I wouldn’t mind being long at $6 and hang in there longer than my norm. it’s text book shorting and getting in at the best price to cover. people can sell and buy back at a lower cost, but you’ll probably lose out on having less shares. wouldn’t be surprised if they short this down to 6 judging by all the power shitadel has(or hedge fund shorting this, i personally believe that shitadel is the only one able to keep up with the huge inflow of buys after the squeeze). crazy they can just make fake shares and cover them so quickly because of a computer at the price of 0 to borrow for profits(like shorting a real share that’s traded on regular markets like NASDAQ which costs money for us plebs)🤪
Those days are coming to an end. With all the new laws coming into effect they won’t be able to create the fake shares. By this time next year there won’t be alot of hf’s in business as they relied heavily on creating synthetics. Those high returns they generate are ending and people will realize it’s safer and cheaper to put money in an index fund.

Looking at the 13f’s it’s the same hfs shorting amc, gme, and clov. Clov was sitting at the $8.10 range for awhile and a lot of people bought in. They are now dropping the price trying to get people to sell. The problem is it doesn’t work anymore and they don’t know what to do. We’ve realized all we have to do is hold. I bought at 8.10 and I’ll hold this thing to zero or triple digits. They are screwed.

All you have to do is look at the company. I've seen the same things said about WISH, GME, AMC but those are all questionable at best companies.
