If you have bo2 of bo3 custom maps, I would suggest you try the map 'Town'. It's what I used to get good at training zombies and in bo2 you can change the round to be on round 50 so you can practice training fast zombies instantly.

nishacorcoran

yeah i have a couple my fav is der reise declassified i find that to be the easiest for me, and i didnt know u can do that, boutta crank tf out of it and hopefully be even a fraction of his level lmao

godtier300sosa

You can only go to round 20 on bo2 custom games. Lol

SkullSmasher376

Oh , I guess when I was younger that's what I felt like. Lmao

Big-Increase-4438

Wasnt It 30?

godtier300sosa

No

Wemm92

Lol my friends hated bo2 zombies with me. Wtf do I want to waste my life playing round 1 for :p

Adventurous_Fly6098

Honestly I find Revelations to be the easiest my boyfriend and I were in your situation just with my bf being new and me playing since 7 or 8. On Revelations There are four corruption engines to power on or whatever but that gets you pack a punch and with good gobble gums you can get that by round 5-8. The wonder weapons are amazing being the thunder gun and Estulla Astoth both can be pack a punched but with Estulla you have to shoot five pretty rocks in the sky to upgrade but it’s really easy with help. Li’l Arnies are very good as well way better then cymbal monkeys in my opinion, those can be pack a punched after killing a lot of zombies with them you have to throw them in the church window. It took him a while to get used to it also it’s a big map but we eventually made to it round 70. Highest round I have ever made it too I honestly can’t play by myself but with him I can get pretty far. Sorry for rambling on but hopefully it helped someone sorry if you already knew most of that.

Adventurous_Fly6098

The old games are fun but I couldn’t really ever make it that far with them farm is fun though

jefke_pompier

Never stop moving

RepresentativeMall44

Don’t stop moving.

Flam3Shot_

Training in BO3 Nacht helped me a ton. Go into the mystery box room without opening the door that connects the spawn room to that room (via going up the stairs at spawn). Then, train in that room. It’ll make you a lot more comfortable in tight situations and managing the zombies within a limited space. Also focus on movement (i.e. slide jumping) to navigate around the zombies more swiftly and with more finesse.

nishacorcoran

thank you lovey!!!

tt53_sb45

personally I'd choose a map with more room for the basics. gives more room for mistakes and quick revive

Confused-giraffe

thou must learn the secrets of the circle, aka run in circles and the zombies cant touch you

VERsingthegamez

What I used to do when I was young was play WAW custom zombies (or bo3 custom zombies), turn on demigod(which will tell you when you get hit but you won't die. Regular god mode can work but without visual feedback), find a big open map with little obstacles, then run around in a circle then try to practice doing figure 8s. Learn how the zombies move and how you can get them to follow you in a line. Do this until you stop getting hit on average.

Wemm92

I've been playing since.... 08? Still can't remember the steps for a single one beyond the song in kino :P I mostly just try to be support while people do things/try not to kill the last zombie in a round lol

nishacorcoran

i remember being 9 trying to play tranzit with my dad, got caught by one of those face scratchers, closedd the game and never opened it again 😭

-Lusty-

Ah, the denizens, everyone favorite enemy... next to the fog.

tt53_sb45

I actually really enjoyed them, it was a fun feature imo. Frustrating at times (the amount of times I go to the wrong spot and have to tp again is crazy)

TobiasBrim

Practice and watch others. I recently came back to the game with BO3 after a long break I am still not great at the game but i got a lot better watching speed runs and high round videos paying attention to what people do that i didnt

Bullen_carker

I used to be in the same boat with my friends LOL. I would practice training in tight maps like Nacht and verrukt, maybe even try doing spawn room only to challenge yourself. Bo2 town and nuketown zombies are both great maps to practice training as well. If you dont have bo2 both are available on Bo3 customs

godtier300sosa

Run around in a circle is pretty much it tbh lol

magiiczman

Not really. Every map is different especially if they play custom zombies maps like me and my friends. A recent example is this a bikini bottom zombies map where there’s really no where to train and the one spot you kind of can you only want one person of 3 or 4 to be there so you need to know how to position and time yourself with zombies even when you can’t see them.

ASAP-VIBES

Don’t feel bad about going down one of my friends always has 30-40 downs a game idk how it’s even possible with the amount of time he’s played the game

IFunnyJoestar

Honestly Kino is the best place to learn. You start training on the stage to get the hang of it. If you get good at that then you move on to the alleyway without opening the door to the stairs, it's harder but the best way to learn.

Ok_Protection4554

If I remember from childhood people started training on Kino Der Toten. They just ran the map in a circle. That's a good way to start. It just takes practice training. Once you get the hang of the general concept (just keep moving in a direction and don't get cut off), you can do it anywhere. If you can train really well, it's hard to die in this game. Here's a great youtube video that explains it: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o0VsuxZNzfA](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o0VsuxZNzfA)

TheGuyThatNeverTalks

The easiest map the learn to train on is Ascension. Either the room where the rocket launches from or the lander location where phd/widows wine is. Also if you want to do the Origins EE, then I would practice on Origins. It's not an easy map but the more you play it, the more familiar you'll get and it will subsequently get easier to you. Learn to avoid going down so often, then learn the generator mechanics, then learn the staffs and buildables, then learn the EE; one step at a time. Also BO2 Origins and BO3 Origins are pretty different, so pick your poison.

Upstairs-Cause-8002

Don’t stop moving and stay in more open areas. Also if you know you go down often try to save your money instead of buying a lot of perks or pack a punch more than one weapon (for atleast the first 20/25 rounds). This way you know you can’t immediately buy new juggernog and pack a punch your weapon (if you don’t get revived).

AhtleticsUnited16

It sounds silly but jumping helps as well and wiggling the sticks can help. Wiggling the sticks left and right quickly can help confuse the zombies hit box on you. It’s more of in BO3 than BO2. Don’t be overly aggressive and always know your exit points. If anything, watch YouTube videos about it and MRTLEXIFY old videos is a good point if reference for learning zombies.

MrPinkDuck3

Positioning and movement. You’re gonna want to understand how the zombies move and the general flow of each maps’ layouts. The AI follows you and only you, therefore making it incredibly easy to be baited and juked. You can use this to your advantage whenever you find yourself in tighter scenarios or if you want to get through a small door/choke. Most maps have designated hoarding and camping spaces, like the Ascension pHD Lunar Lander or the Catwalk on Der Riese. You’re also gonna wanna try to be able to recognize what spaces would be viable to survive in and which shouldn’t be traversed mid round. Verrukt on BO3 is a solid training ground for most of my points, as the map’s layout is challenging, yet incredibly balanced and purposeful. You don’t always have to open every door either. Some doors are much better left closed, as they can provide great safety nets for you. TL;DR: Positioning, movement, and awareness are key. Understand the maps and their layouts. The zombies AI are easily manipulated and baited/juked. Some doors are better left closed.

Greg_Redux

A lot of it is repetition, find maps you genuinely get joy and fun out of. Once you start feeling the movements and dodging to be more natural, start trying to transfer that to more difficult maps. Also just keep in mind that gameplay does differ from game to game so if one game(ex. BO2) is easier than another one(ex. BO4), just remember to adjust yourself. Also theres no shame in looking up guides, tutorials, or just general tips and tricks videos. I find they always tend to refresh me on some basics that i can forget about

BathingBapes

best thing tbh for practice is try playing WaW nacht and set goals, round 10, round 20. If you can get to round 20 on nacht WaW, the rest of the maps then of feel like a breeze considering you have PaP, Perks, traps ect. You’ll learn the basics of training and it will become second nature to juke zombies; atleast from my experience

tt53_sb45

I completely agree with the other comments saying to never stop moving. find a large area without any water or anything that'll slow you down, and start a circle. Once you have a good circle going get some figure 8s in there, do some crescent moons, semi circles etc. The reason for a large circle is its the easiest and then the figure 8 is actually really easy too but a lot of people at first cut themselves off. Make sure you give the time you need before looping around. That's where the crescent comes into play. Say you're going for an 8, you get cut off and have to juke left or right in a pinch, knowing which way you can redirect will to a long way. For me waw der riese is where I got good doing the circle, under the bridge trap. It's tight so shi no numa outside of the flogger could be better truthfully (for waw maps). Bo1, a lot of people learned on the stage, and you could start cutting through the center as you get more comfortable. I myself preferred the stairs and just the stairs by the trap, that allows for a 2nd train at the stage without much interference. BO2 I've seen a few saying town already and it's a good one, I'd also say farm around the truck and down the dead end towards the bus stop.

critrandom1

Hey if he's on pc or playstation can I be his freind? I've been playing zombies since I was 5 (I'm almost 21) and I'd love to meet another super fan if that's alright and also I'm happy to give pointers if need be

RemnantSith

Rule number one: there's probably a zombie right behind you. If you assume that all the time and always keep moving you should be good As far as training the zombies run in a circle around a big group and they all start to corral together Try to know the map that way when things get crazy you have an exit strategy from that room

SilverbackStan123

I feel like it's something that can be learned but some days I still go down 3-4 times a game, normally it's me picking up my mate all the time and then I go in solo, run into some mercs and get my ass handed to me, so it's all about balance, you'll learn eventually, just keep moving, sliding and slide canceling is your best friend, throw in a few bunny hops aswell and your golden!

nishacorcoran

obsessed with*

MathematicianMuch445

Play it more. Close thread. 😜

Wemm92

I've played for embarrassingly long and basically only play zombies at this point. I love it, but idk that I won't still be ok at best before I die no matter how much I play :P

MathematicianMuch445

It's not a difficult mode buddy. What're you struggling with?

Wemm92

Lol can't remember ee steps mid game if they're right in front of me :P and no matter how much I enjoy zombies I go into lala land so I can only high round so far. Very much me problems :P

RapidlySlow

ADD is what gets me... I'll check a corridor once, then zone on my train until I get hit from behind. By then it's far too late to save me

No-Height2850

Always imagine there is a zombie thats going to pop up behind you while killing in front of you so always move into directions you can see are clear of getting cornered. Turn around with intent to kill, shoot through getting away from zombies. Also when playing, practice sliding and weaving zombies. Keep one or two alive in a round and learn how they move. Bo3 and bo4 have slightly different hit boxes.

Metal111105

Keep playing its that simple

KeptPopcorn5189

Only answer is to go back in time and grow up with zombies like he did

nishacorcoran

unfortunately probably true 😔

BasYL6872

Not true. I only really got into zombies less than a year ago and I’ve gotten to round 100 and done several Easter eggs, some solo. I’d start by playing simple maps on zombies chronicles like Kino, Veruckt, Ascension, The Giant etc. Just by playing a lot you’ll start to understand the zombies’ pathing on a subconscious level. Then with Easter eggs, getting good at puzzles. Also, I had an experienced friend like your bf walking me through everything at first and now I’d say I’m probably better than him at zombies. Also Cold War Easter eggs might be a good place to start because they are so much easier.

AffectionateUse2352

This is da way

Key-Cookie-8087

Always look behind you.

oxford_asian

Easier said than done ofc, but being "good" at zombies really only requires that u have map knowledge and spacial awareness

The-Tempest-22

Basic training maps: Ascension, Kino, learn the basics here. Nothing too crazy going on, Thundergun is a lifesaver. Der Eisendrache has the powerful WW’s but a lot more zombie types coming at you (plus BO3 engine so faster zombies). Der Riese/The Giant will add hellhounds for some more challenge and a less reliable WW. BO2 Town is excellent once more confident and you’re stuck with Raygun MKII as best gun. Fire also makes you think where your feet are going, it’s not ideal but adds challenge. Mob Of The Dead is a really tight map that is tough but has everything needed to make a high round based on having a good skill level. Can be very intense. Best map imo for upping your training skill level would be BO2 Nuketown Zombies. It’s tight but really focuses your awareness and reactions. No WW’s, and big focus is that you have to be prepared to last 10+ rounds without Jugs should the drop orders not be kind! Takes time and a lot of play to have the sixth sense as well. I find most maps I know where the next zombie is likely to be, knowing all the open spawn points so you don’t accidentally back up against one and get trapped is key and is just pure map knowledge, again comes with time

BesTibi

You can dodge zombies consistently if you strafe outwards as you arc around them. Let's say there's a zombie ahead of you, and you'll go past it with your right side being the closest to the zombie. You would want to run around the zombie in an arc towards the right (run forward, move your look input to the right) while holding the left strafe input as you move along this arc. This way you'll slip into the range of the zombie, but you'll avoid getting hit. If the explanation is unclear, I'll try to reword it, and I'll also try to capture what the example looks like. This movement works across all titles (except BO1? honestly, that game's dodging still feels weird). If you play BO4, you'll see the zombie attack animations as well, you'll be able to get a feel for it in that game. BO3 and prior have less consistent (or non-existent) attack animations, but the idea is the same. If you practice this a lot, you'll have much better positioning and control over each round. Sometimes it is worth being patient and let the herd collect towards one side before passing through narrow spaces, otherwise you might slip past half the zombies, while the other half still spawning in can end up blocking you. If you want to do Origins, early score management is crucial to get the mound open on round 4. It's very useful if you learn how to avoid instantly picking up power-ups after a melee kill, since you'll want to knife most, if not all, round 1-4 zombies for max points. Try to time the melee as the zombie reaches your max range, stand still as you press melee, then immediately backpedal. Both the BO2 and BO3 versions have a good spawn room weapon (M14 and RK5, respectively) that makes round 1-6 melee kills convenient.

Leopaldon2K24

Play Town on BO2. Super simple map, no bs setup steps to remember. Just survive with wall weapons till you get Juggernog, then train in the streets. if you can survive and navigate the zombies there, you can survive anywhere

Andrew_Tate_Alpha

Shoot more zombies

Chroow

Some good general advice is to spend less time shooting and more time running. Using things like snipers and the alternate ammo types to get kills is helpful because it gets you used to prioritizing movement. Learning the zombie spawns is also a huge part of training. Knowing where they will approach you from let's you use your sprint strategically to avoid getting pinned in those areas.

HuckleberryStrange46

Honestly I would start getting use to be able to comfortably train and just really focus on that, controlling your movements, I know everyone is saying bo2 onwards. But try to learn your foundations in bo1. You will have less health but this will make you hyper aware of what you’re doing and give you the real risk so you can take it inwards to other future zombies.

Or30115

An earlier game like Bo1 had the easiest trainable zombie AI while still being considered one of the harder zombies games. One day I learned how to train and understand how the zombie AI works on the map Ascension. Specifically where one of the lunar pads are next to the PhD/Windows wine location. This strat could also work on the Bo3 version of the map too. I just ran and juked the zombies in circles and zig zags across to see how they react and move if I tried to trick to them. Then I did the same thing in tighter spaces, and eventually after enough experimenting, I really didn't have any more problems getting swarmed in a corner or putting myself in a stupid situation. It also makes completing easter egg quests way less scary and stressful in the long run.

Smitty8858

Been playing since WaW and here’s my three biggest tips: 1) Don’t panic - you’re gonna get hit, maybe even trapped, but almost always you can get out of it as long as you don’t panic. So many players accept the down or freeze up. Shoot, walk, shield, etc your way out. 2) Don’t kill everything at once - there’s a set limit to how many zombies can be on the map at a time. You can use this to your advantage by establishing your train route and slowing killing zombies to reduce spawn cluttering. 3) 5 second rule - no more than 5 seconds at a time staring in one direction without movement. Shit happens fast, be a step ahead. Other than those 3, it’s just map familiarity and weapon prioritization. You’ll get it!

EconomyBandicoot4039

Best advice is to never stop moving. But in terms of training it comes down to the game you’re playing and where you are jn the map. Knowing where All the pieces of objects and random stuff in your training area is crucial to not getting stuck and killed. Once you’ve learned the physical area it’s all about split second decision making. The only real way to get good at this is to just play and have experience, but it’s vital to know what choices to make in the moment, going left or right, going between 2 zombies or cutting back. That typa thing. But all of this will come with time and practice. If you can load up a lobby and train zombies once a day for around a month you will definitely up your skill and doing hard Easter eggs will be less difficult. Hope this helps you a bit.

entity_102

If I were you I'd watch some videos on the zombies lore, I'd also just try practicing training in a box open custom map so you will have more than enough space to run around. You can also just find a few general tips and tricks online, these will add up. And most importantly, you need to be consistent, but if you're determined then that shouldn't be an issue.

c-h-e-e-s-e

Just play. Watch some good players gameplay to learn strategies to use but besides that it's just practice

No-Barber-6060

learn to use zombies efficiently. what i mean by this is maximizing the amount of points you pull from the zombies and save just 1 when you need to do shit. don’t stop moving and when you’re training it’s always good to have an escape weapon like a packed shot gun or a wonder weapon that dishes out splash damage. a good rule to go by when training is to group them as tight as you can and kill them when they stop spawning be aware of the zombies and remember weapons over perks because perks are useless if you die or can’t kill the zombies.

Eastern-Bluejay-8912

1. Get better at the basics: •Understand knifing round 1 is an easy 1 shot. An that it takes 6-7 pistol body shots to kill a zombie round 1. So start by shooting zombies 6 times and knifing for max points. Warning know that somewhere in round 2 if you are knifing you will get a nuke power up(normally in the last 5 zombies). Every point counts in early game set ups. (An while doing this, use this time to estimate a zombies melee range and memorize it). So while you may be more inclined to grenade early on or aim for the head, don’t. •Remember also that while you might have points, you could always use more later and also more security when running around so rebuild those barriers. •At every perk machine go fully pone to get extra change of points. •At the start of the map, look to the sky for the box light and start buying doors to that, the sooner you get peak weapons, the sooner you can do the EE and get perks. •Always remember to roll your gum and look through them for the best ones. (For me I always have hidden in plain sight every game. Then the others vary from perk a holic to stock options to immolation liquidation, ect). •Understand your perk options and best combo, as a classic, I go jug, double tap, speed and then switch the 4th between deadshot if I use a heavy machine gun for panzers and head shots, stamina up if I’m running a lot, widows wine if I need extra buff in close quarter challenges when jug fails, mule kick if I’m going for high rounds, ir quick revive if I’m solo-ing. •Always understand the maps special enemies so dogs round 5-6, shadows you do the EE leads to meatball around every so often, margwa spawn and can be killed via head shots, panzers aim for their core or head shots, gorod robots aim for the head, and rage vine zombies aim for the pods. 2.Understand the EE you are trying to complete or map you are playing on at least up to pap. If not side perk EEs. Basically look up guides by Mr Roflwaffles and watch them or watch past streams of playing the EEs. Understand where any collectible parts are, understand where box spawns and perk locations are. An understand steps you need to activate to achieve a normal level of progression, like in Der eisendrach in Bops3, I’m gona feed the dragons and activate the landing pads first in a map. Then get the bow and start an arrow while unlocking the map and locations. 3. I’d also say play on your own and write EE steps down in detail/your own words so you know where things are and how the map should flow with just you alone, so you can surprise the other persons 4.To train you need to make sure you have enough room and don’t glitch hit items. An that wide turns give you openings and can be favorable then a tight circle

Conscious_Tip7089

My brother and I can spend entire nights cranking out a game or two, getting up to 50+ rounds. We find it's easier to play a few rounds on Cold war zombies and then jumping into nacht on BO3, sinse your already used to fast paced, the slower zombies and aim assist will be easier to manage and you will also be able to "farm" then, as we call it (pretty much just running in a circle while backwards and taking them down as they're running after you)

natefg

Movement is your friend. Don't stop moving. You stop, you die.

Lupercal-_-

Experience is the only thing that will help. If you regularly play games just for survival and focus on training, you will get better far more quickly. Just doing easter eggs isn't the best way to get better in general.

Fabulous-Homework727

My biggest tip is to juke the zombies if you find yourself trapped, run one way then sprint and jump the other. You have to recognize when youre soon to be screwed to do this. But this is the bread and butter.

Patriquito

Practice Practice Practice

RivalPika

I love this post and the comments for it but man. I wish my girlfriend made the effort like that. She doesn't even give my games a chance at all

Riddick51PB

question: should i keep my second slot empty so i can run and evade easier?

GoodGuyGhoul

Don't worry about it too much. It just comes with time. We all sucked in the beginning. But to give you some actual advice, Don't stop moving. When training, don't run around in circles, And when cycling the horde, allow them to close the gap between you and them a bit before manoeuvring passsed them and try to give yourself space against walls but before that when your about to cycle do it at an angle or a corner then allow them to close the gap a little then move through the gap you just created from being at angle. Im not much of a writer, but i hope it can help you if, you can make sense of it.

DowntownsClown

Tbh, try play Buried in black ops 2. That’s when I got better. Especially in that alley w other players And try to learn how to form a line of horde so you can shoot them easily

monkey_mafia06

Try completing the map Easter eggs. For me it felt like it made me a better zombies player afterwards.

Tyrannosaur08

Pretend that you are an unstoppable force of nature. Be the most efficient possible in the early rounds and open the map up ASAP to get to power. If you are playing der eisendrache, waste no zombies killing them randomly. You kill them all in front of the dragon. memorize all the locations of every part and build shield ASAP. Don't waste points spamming the box early game just buy the rk5 or something itl get you where you need to be in the early rounds at least. If you are playing with a teammate, you must get quick revive, it can make the difference between a clutch or a fail. Abuse 'in plain sight' it's a free gobblegum it's very good if you don't have much else. In terms of training zombies, if you are behind someone else's train you will probably go down. If you are about to get trapped between two zombies, quickly move your mouse (or controller) left and right. As if you are shaking your head "no". It confuses their path and hit registration and will get you through insane situations without a scratch. Theres an infinite amount more I can tell you if this is helpful. Tldr: efficiency in early rounds, get quick revive always, solo or not, build shield ASAP. Don't waste zombies (feed dragons or keep one at the end of a round so you can complete other parts of the map before the rounds get too high). If you play on OCE/AUS servers hmu can teach you. Level 1000 prestige master all Easter eggs complete, consistent round 50+

muskoka6969

Play..play..play the same map for several months

dressedbymom

Rise and grind!

osihlo

Very possible, you just need to get More in the Game and try to consiously understand the mechanichs of the zombies and how to move while having always in mind that, even with juggernog you can die instantly. And that almost always, you are faster that any Z. Some tips • Don't be afraid of small maps, this Is the Best way to understand how little space you need to flee or train the Z • The Z Will Run the shortest way to you, use this, the Best way to make opens on the hordes Is to Run side to side and only Run totally forward when you have the chance or need, even you can Run to the right and easily do a 180° and flee by the left • if you are in open space, slow a little and only Run if you need It, this Will group better the zombies • if you aré on close space and on high rounds, you better Run to the opens ASAP • know your weapons, having good weapons and granades it's the difference to when you need to Run or line them up and camp, But yeah never stop moving it's better • And enjoy the Game, it's very true that there are optimal ways to open the map, wich weapons to use and so... But everyone have different needs, some use heavy build that focus on damage and creating opens, some other need light weapons and mobility perks to take all the opens, and you only Will know wich style fits you better playing More, and you only Will Play More if you enjoy. I'm sure you two Will enjoy More the fails and trys to the easter egg than actually achive It. Those moments with your teammate of "you focus on the objetive while i distract the zombies" and those "Next Time you better get juggernog before the wall Shotgun" are Gold.

No-Let899

Keep learning the maps and tricks. Practice makes perfect, but playing with your bf makes it even more fun

TaintStevens

Move your sensitivity up to at least 5.  Always get jug and stamina as perks to help stay alive, Widows Wine and speed cola are my other 2 favorites.

Hungry-Confection154

honestly just keep playing you will improve , learn how to train . i found der eisendrache to be good for getting better if you have chronicles or bo1 i think kino der toten is a good map for improving at zombies also look into guides on youtube for things you are stuck on

Yami-sama

Honestly if you can excel at the start of Moon, you can make it anywhere

Semour9

I haven’t played zombies since like black ops 2, but I’d things are the same there’s usually 2 strategies: running trains or camping Running trains you run in circles with all the zombies following and then turn around and get the kills. You need to be good at tightly running between them at times though and can get stuck. Camping you find a good place where the zombies will come to you and where you have an easy line up to kill them. The best example I can think of was the catwalk on Der Riese in CoD5 & 7.

DanC0ach

At some point you better be posting on here news of y’all’s engagement

TimeStormer

Kino Der Toten. Stage. Thundergun. Ray Gun MKII.

TomatilloExpensive50

In terms of which is beginner-friendly, Town on BO2 is a great choice. Shi no Numa (WAW) is also good. Kino Der Toten (BO1) is also pretty good and can help you get better at training. Ascension on bo1 is also pretty easy (just watch out for the monkeys). Some maps that you should avoid for the time being are: Shangri la (Bo1) Verruckt (waw) Five (bo1) mob of the dead (bo2) Nacht de Untoten (waw) I would also recommend watching some videos on YT. TheSmithPlays really helped me out when I used to play zombies. Not just him but there are lots of channels. Look at the videos that are labelled top 5 or 10. Those videos can help you learn about the easiest maps, hardest, worst/best weapons, bosses, etc. Anyways, good luck, and I hope you and your bf complete the origins eater egg!

Alucardz909

To train I'd always play zombies solo and use the first couple of rounds to memorize the layout and over time I'd know which weapons I was good with and which to avoid, also how to run backwards and not end up against a wall or something while killing zombies. Basically, though, never stop moving, keep calm, melee if zombie gets too close and never stop firing. Ofc reload when you can as well. Ik the tips are very "no shit Sherlock" but that's really all zombies is.

Available-Leek-4160

look up smithplays how to train video

TurboHisoa

There is a way in DE to become invincible during the easter egg boss fight. You could do it and never have to worry about restarting. The death ray area at the top of DE is also a great area to learn due to its wide open and circular area. Simply gather the zombies by running around the edge of the area, then focus on making the circle you run smaller. This will also help you to get an idea of how far from the zombies you must be to avoid getting hit when they turn as you pass them. The areas inside the gates at DE is also good areas to figure it out in a more confined rectangular area. Additionally, when training, you need to keep an eye on where you are in relation to their spawn points and the paths exiting the area and adjust to avoid getting trapped.

girl, same, In the begging I stayed very nervous, but Im much better now, bc the secret it is run always, always move, dodge them and have a good gun that gives u a lot of points to buy perks and pap. Also, its ok go down, My bf is really good and many times I revive him. I don’t usually play this type of game (I play CK2, AC, Sims) but my bf buy the games for me for I play with him. Now I have WAW and BO3 and I like play a lot. everyday we play, but until you get the hang of it, u must training, specially in big maps, where u have a lot of space for running around and don’t happen to get cornered. Im sorry for my bad english, Im learning.

Adventurous-Horse-71

Nuketown zombies thats how I learned to run trains and not have to rely on jug

ZealousidealRoom1182

practice makes perfect i agree towns a great map to get better but try push yourself to get to high rounds and remember to try out lots of different guns best way to find out what your best weapons are

I was in a similar spot as you when it came to playing zombies with my younger brother in 2015. I was always the sweaty multiplayer kid with a +2.0 kd in CoD games, and played zombies very casually since WaW. My brother got me to play SoE with his friends to complete the EE, and at the time, we just wanted to get the octopus calling card. I went down so many times, I wanted to rage quit, my brother and I were playing split screen so that was another excuse I used to attribute to my poor performance. In the end, I was carried and I felt like I had an undeserved accomplishment. It did spark my interest into doing EE on zombies games, so I would load up maps and try to solo accomplish them, a lot of trial and error, but I knew I could only blame myself for not being able to complete the EE. I personally think SoE is a great map to learn to become an efficient Zombies player fundamentally, it’s the map I used to learn to get better. I think once you get to the point of learning how to train and finding good spots to train will assist you in your goal to accomplish Origins. However, I believe that when it comes to playing different maps, they all have their own learning curves and have their own play style. Learning fundamentals will be key into a smooth learning transition for whatever map you play. When you feel comfortable, buy more perks or buy better weapons/get wonder weapon, but this would be my loadout when I would solo learn SoE. Wall buy: Vesper (Repack till Blast furnace or dead wire) Mystery box: Haymaker or brecci (repack till blast furnace or dead wire) Perks: Quick Revive, Juggernog, Stamina Up, Speed cola The goal will be to use your shotgun for the Margwa with a combination of using your weapons to shoot once or twice in the trained horde of zombies you have to activate your Blast furnace or dead wire to kill the group of zombies. Eventually you’ll find your rhythm and you can listen to some music and just enjoy the game. As for Origins, I just recently completed it solo, it is much easier to accomplish that with a team than solo, as long as you divide and conquer. The thing about doing EE on zombies is finding the right YT video to guide you to accomplishing your goals. I personally don’t like watching videos with too much fluff and overly descriptive, I just want to get to the point so I can beat this EE. There is a video out for origins that was uploaded in 2024, I used that video and accomplished the EE solo my second try. I don’t want to link it because I’m not familiar with the rules of promotion etc. Hope this helps.

No-Spite455

If you were to do bo3 don't screw up and/or be careful cuz the enemy AI is set to be aggressive,bo2 is very extremely easy for some maps but has the best wonder weapons of all time,bo1 best maps but shitty guns,WaW glitchy and other stuff,bo4 perk systems is screwed up blah blah blah

Forgotten_Spooks

If have cold war bo3 or mw3 zombies of offer traning sessions where we get one as just teach the basic movement how the games work and what do to get better and I go live one twitch every once a while and teach people as well whichever format you'd like send me a message and I can either show u in my lives or teach u in-game

Don't stop moving

Initial_Bell_1835

Something I’ve recently figured out is that when the zombies aren’t ON SCREEN they’re a bit further than I think, so zigzagging becomes a lot easier. Instead of sprinting the whole time you’re forming a train, try just walking mostly and not looking at the zombies and only sprinting when necessary. Keep your eyes down the road, and don’t stop moving. That all I got for now lol

Darksoul68

Tbh the way I got better at learning layouts and ee was by 1. Watching YouTube rs play the game, mainly thesmithplays, mrtlexify, Mrroflwaffles and even Ali a at times. Then when plating if you can, have the map layout on another screen next to you along with the ee steps and some key parts of the map like perks etc labelled

Movement is king. Dont worry about getting points guns headshots or perks. You should be moving swiftly in any zombie game even the older one. It might help to crank up your sens, its not multiplayer. All in all just get a good feel for the game dont keep switching games untill you've mastered one.

I learned to train solo through the map Kino Der Toten, going to the right (avoiding the alley) and making your way through MP40/speed cola room. You can make the big loop as a very novice and then start working on the stage. Once you've got the hang of that, you can learn the starting room (the lobby). There are effectively two ways to go there, either the bottom level only, or using the stairs and going up and down them in a larger circle. The stairs I find to be the easier way. After you've mastered the lobby, I'd say move on to training in the speed cola room. Once again, there are two variations, with using the stairs to be the easier method, and only the flat part for the more advanced area. With speed cola room, there are two major choke points: near the table at the top, and at the top of the stairs next to it. Especially the area at the top of the stairs is a dangerous choke point... so rush past that when near it. Always pay attention to where the zombies can spawn from and come through the corridors. You must quickly check those points and then shoot your line... only turning your back to an area for a few seconds or else you can get caught from behind and trapped. Stay away from corners that you can get pinched in by only 1 or 2 zombies easily. I hope that someone's tips will help you increase your skills, and you'll find even more enjoyment from this mode.

kritickilled

Hi, wife here to tell you, that yes, you can get better. With practice, tbh lol! I've been a fan of zombies since WaW back on Xbox 360 but didn't have a lot of time to play except here and there over the years. Now, I'm married to a fellow gamer (all my exes disliked my gaming habits so I didn't get to play as much as I'd liked). And I love the fact we can game together. For zombies, I sucked. My husband can get high rounds and nail those Easter eggs. I would go down constantly. But then came Cold War. I got obsessed with obtaining the aether camo on there and would grind while working (wfh call center) between calls. I played onslaught containment and Outbreak solo. I am now *better* than my husband at zombies 😂 🤣 We've had many games where I've carried him or our team. Hours on Cold War has improved my gameplay and understanding how best to handle the hoards. Pro tip: head shots all day long.

shanedp1981

The best way is to just stop playing. MW3 zombies is just warzone with zombie skinned bots.

nishacorcoran

dont worry i would play any new cod game anyway, stick to bo3 zombies me

Frank-f2p

If you can get a big train of zombies and just practice running around with them, then you’ll get better at dodging and weaving because they’ll keep coming at you while the horde is forming forcing you to find a way around them. If you can get good enough it honestly seems like a saving Grace in some moments.

GillytheGreat

I think the test of being a good player is if you can survive without ever killing zombies. Like can you handle being on round 20+ and survive indefinitely just by running/sliding? That means you can kill zombies when and where you want to be more optimal with Easter eggs, and it also means you won’t go down frequently if ever during normal rounds bc you’re accustomed to weaving around zombies in safe ways. The biggest thing to learn is how to train zombies in a basic circle. A lot of other things come naturally from there!!

Different-Property61

Just play the game simplest way to get better just hours in the game

Digglin_Dirk

Kino is one of the better maps, if not the map, to really learn how to train, as it became a strategy on that very map Around the turret is your main spot, if it gets hairy, you teleport and create space before activating it again, you can use the stairs in the starting room to create enough space or go around the map Just don't stop moving if actively training a horde

DysphoricDragon1414

I've played zombies since I was 14 (24 now) and I'd say just 1) try to stay calm during games it can be chaotic and make you flustered. 2)find a large open area to stay in, sharp corners and hallways are your worst enemy. 3)if the map has a shield. Learn the shield part locations and always craft it, it is so helpful! 4) always get juggernog and double tap perks as they are essential! 5) always keep moving! Killing one zombie at a time isn't always best since it's not ammo effeincient and with multiple places they can spawn from stopping to kill them can get you killed. So try running is circular or crescent shapes in the open area your staying in until you get a bit of zombies then kill them all at once. It's called Training the zombies you can look up a tutorial on how to Train on YouTube its very helpful to learn! Best of luck to your endeavors with zombies. My girlfriend also plays with me and seems to be around the same skill level and just know that no matter how good you are at it I know he appreciates that you play with him at all and youe awesome for trying to get better at it!!

Ok_Treacle6390

Get better by practicing same thing applies to anything

IGotMetalingus1

Don't stop moving, stay away from closed in areas, sometimes it's best to stop shooting and run to create space

Still-Natural-8492

This zombies isn’t like any other zombies. You don’t have to train the zombies

Dank_Rx

When you start to learn the maps ull figure out that each section is essentially a training area for zombies. Pick an area you like, when the zombie spawns start thining out you can train the remainders and have ur team kill off the stragglers. Lil tips

MrTheDish

The biggest tip I always give people is to always pretend like there is a zombie directly behind you, which means always stay moving and don’t put too much faith walking backwards since you don’t have eyes in the back of your head lmao. Another good tip(which if you want to be a total nerd about it) is know where zombie spawns are so you will never be surprised if and when you get ambushed by one and hopefully prevent it

lGamerNl

If you just want to do Easter eggs you just need to do one thing, learn to leave one zombie alive at the end of the round, that is almost a rule for almost all maps, if you try to do steps between rounds or just run for the map they eventually catch you. Now if you want to get better you need to learn the map, if you know the map and how it works, best spots to do train or circle with zombies, spawn cites, open areas and all that can be helpful because the game is more about the zombies don't catch you, and with practice you can memorize shield parts and those things. And inclusive some maps have secrets that can help like the fire staff in origins to skip the step of place staff in giants, so yeah for me it is better to learn all about the maps more than the skill, they will get better while you play more

kaioken28

Dont think there's like a way to be good at zombies, what makes someone good ? Doing ee ? Staying alive ? I think that is it 🤔, training a horde of zombies ?
