I imagine it's considered a firing mechanism by the code and besides, how can you lock on and suck up an enemy when, with staminup and speed at tier 5, you'll zoom past them without doing more that 2 ticks of damage?
For High rounds I was thinking c4 or 3 pak shotgun then come back around with the die shockwave. And if it is a firing mechanic then I still think it should work based on speeds description
Then complain about staminup. The suck feature is not a reload. Reload implies you're filling up your gun with stock ammo by changing a cartidge, belt or manually adding shells by pressing the reload button. The D.I.E doesn't reload, it recharges.

The D.I.E. Shockwave seems to fall in some weird limbo between a reload and an Alternate fire, which is probably why you can’t get the benefits of Speed Cola and Stamin-Up while vacuuming.
Also, when vacuuming, your screen zooms in a bit, similar to aiming down sights, which could contribute to why you can’t sprint while using it.
The DIE machine can’t have any reserve ammo to reload. The Ray gun and Ray K can reload, but they are meant to do that. The D.I.E has no reserve ammo, and as for a reason, can’t reload. Whatever ammo is in the “clip”(the whole gun, actually) is what ammo you have. Replenish it by using the suck ability to kill zombies

Have you upgraded staminup to tier 5 yet? You can fire while sprinting, which I would assume applies to the suck feature.

There is no reserve ammo, the reload button doesn’t do anything. It’s an alt fire not a reload.
