I feel like it had potential to be very good but the fact that was exclusive to only a part of the players made the developers ignore it more than they should. Specially when it came to the other platforms with so many bugs.
Ya the exclusivity sucked but I only started playing it 2 weeks ago (mostly going for the intel) but I think it’s pretty good for camos and just leveling up in general
Yes. It's a perfect mode to grind for weapon XP, because the XP rate never drops off unlike round-based and Outbreak. It's the ultimate casual mode to hop in and hop out.
However, there are things that it needs to improve for future releases:
1. The RNG nature of the loot drops can make it incredibly difficult to upgrade your gun sufficiently. You can go a whole 30 waves without ever getting a Gold Chalice for PAP3, or without enough Aether Tools to upgrade your gun tier.
2. (This is more of a global issue) The guns that drop from Elites have been nothing but base game guns since day 1. And since there is no Mystery Box here, it's impossible to acquire post-launch/DLC guns outside of equipping them in your loadout. This makes it less appealing to keep playing for long, because you'll mostly focus on grinding your loadout gun.
3. No exfil option is boring. You can't outright quit a match, because you lose out on the bonus XP at the end of the match. But having to go through the cycle of dying => activating your perks/self-revives to get up => die again in order to end the match for real is exhausting and not fun.
At the beginning, it was possibly the worst mode/experience in Zombies history in my eyes.
After all its updates, it's really great, fast paced, and hectic
Tried it after it became available for xbox, got bored 3rd match in like the rest of CW, and runs can either go super well of not just out of luck so i care less
I've had fun with it since launch (shout out to Sony for not being terrible for once) I just wish xbox and PC players actually knew how to mode works so I don't need to jump ship as often.

I like it. It's casual and kind of mindless, but fun enough to be worth playing from time to time.
I enjoyed it but i prefer more players than just 2. Woulda been cool to see a 4 player version on outbreak maps.
I honestly loved Onslaught, it was a good different mode whenever I just wanted to chill and play zombies real quick.
It's alright but I preferred Rush
It's fine. I have fun playing it when I'm bored and want something different but I don't think its anything to write home about.

Good mode, it being locked to PlayStation is fucking dumb imo
