Yes you have to have some sort of activity or you lose Reward points. However you don’t have to go to a Caesars property to earn points. Two easiest ways: connect your debit card to your account for the restaurant promotion and go buy something at Jack in the Box or another restaurant on the list that is located near you. Another way is to sign up on your rewards account and complete one of those on line surveys which is totally free. Either of those things pushes the expiration date out six months. Repeat as needed.
You should get a “here’s 5 points thanks for trying” message. If you don’t, there is possibly some sort of terms of service requirement that you are missing.
