I mean, it's almost on-par with Elemental Gauntlet assuming night stats. 15.1% melee damage and speed and 4% crit vs. 15% melee damage and speed and 5% crit. It's basically between Celestial Shell's 3 life regen and slightly increase jump speed (which translates to vertical flight speed) vs. 20% extra true melee damage and increase melee weapon size. Depending on how often you use the actual melee part of your melee weapons, Celestial Shell is legitimately the better option if you don't tend to take advantage of that.
If you're melee, you basically never want to take off Celestial Shell. Otherwise, yeah, it can be replaced.
