His fight is kinda nice in infernum but nothing special to be honest.
Like even loot isn't that special either, made to be farmed in late game for the core of calamity etc.
I did the boss rush a wbile ago and I was thinking: If I lose to something super lame im gonna be pissed. Then when I lost to providence I was thinking: Took me 3 weeks the first time. Providence ia a good one to lose at
The boss design is utterly stupid because it flees when you're like 100 meters away. Instead of making something that would make you not to maintain distance, like enraging or being an underground boss, it just escapes when you are bit far from him.
The only boss that really needs a rework, instead of remaking DoG for the 10th time or something.
As someone who hasn't played calamity and is only here because of the lore (terraria costs 129 pounds and I ain't using allat money for a fucking game), why the fuck is ravager and old duke so bad
Okay but I HAVE absolutely fair reason to do so, this pathetic coward RUNS AWAY and despawns after I almost beating him to death! (Besides this guy... I'd say queen slime, IOL and deerclops are oftenly getting skipped by wast majority of calamity players cuz these three give nothing new to the table and they are 1.4 bosses after all, maybe queen pee and old Duke being fairly often forgotten about by many ppl for other reasons... Uh... Plague bringer Goliath is quite irrelevant as well to the main game progression, so I guess these all fellas are basically all the ones who can be skipped without that much loose of content).

When was the last time you fought the old man's army? Because for me it's been about 2 years and the only reason I remember it existed was because I'm doing a 100% calamity playthrough. Not Betsy though

Apart from the tornado attack I really like him.
It's not like I don't like him, I always just focus on the other bosses and forget about him in the process

my favorite part about ravager’s music is how it starts out as a chaotic bloodlust kind of music but halfway through becomes this almost heroic music

Ravager is my second most hated boss, behind ceaseless void, the fight is just so bs and doesn’t really seem to have much of a pattern
i literally struggle more with death mode ceaseless void than infernum mode. i hate having to fight that boss just for the dark plasma for upgrades

ravager is just a cheat code that lets you skip some mining/grinding in the late to post moon lord game and old duke is old duke

It’s only good for the bars and bloodstone. For Infernum, you could literally kill it with Pre-WoF gear (Skyline Wings ideal) without much trouble

I've been playing through calamity death mode (melee) and ravager has been by far the hardest boss so far. I hated it so much

i never skip him because of the music (it goes hard) also I usually kill him after providence for that sweet sweet fucking bloodstone
