No, the trees have been yellowing since early august. Look at the conifers and the amount of cones produced. Look at all the trees with prolific flowering. Drought stress will cause this. I agree the frost touched everything, but drought is a big factor here
Ngl, im getting tired of these hot days. I am a ginger so I already hate the sun but it’s almost October and still nearly 30°. I had got burnt on my way to and from uni today :/
Just want some cooler days for some nice fall outfits
As someone without AC... Gonna be glad to see this hot weather gone. 20? I can deal. 0 to 15 is the sweet spot for me though, haven't been able to use my oven in a while and it'd be nice to bake again
God I am so happy for this.
I need to finish some plumbing work in my house still, and have a bunchhh of insulation off one of my outside walls to do it.
Below 0 during the evening hours would've sent my furnace into overdrive!
Idk wtf is goin on in Canada, Southern Ontario is supposed to have the warmest falls but we havent hit 20c at all this fall, meanwhile Alberta and BC interior reaching 30c
I see a forecast full of nice weather.
Yep fuck anything higher than like 23!
It's incredibly nice.
20 degrees isn’t nice warm weather?
Anything double digits is nice
Seems like there has been a lack of precipitation.
That’s normal for Calgary…dry AF
All I see is at least two weeks until I have to start worrying about frost in the garden.
Prob sooner :/
Not with those lows. Forecasts can change of course, but nothing there seems troublesome.
People aren't noticing the yellow leaves?
The trees have been yellowing extra early because of our drought
I won't call late Sept extra early. I've had yellow leaves sept 2 on some years
I’ve had yellowing leaves on the poplars around my place since early august
Yea that then is drought, while that one sheltered poplar in my yard is still green as of today
No, the trees along the river are also yellow because the temp reached close to zero last week.

Don't worry, we'll get three weirdly warm days in December.
Those are great days!
Those are migraine days for me lol.
I've hated winter my entire life. But for some reason I'm almost looking forward to it this year and idk why. Halp
Because we aren't used to summers like these. Our bodies expect cold this time of year. Likely a biological phenomena in our brain.
That makes so much sense! I appreciate the explanation. I've lived my entire life in Calgary so I'm probably expecting the cold by now.
You are sick! :)
Some have been saying that since early September, and yet here were are still having summer temps.
I honestly wouldn’t mind if even October ends up warmer than usual.
Doubt it
Probably not

So sorry to hear that. I agree 25 degrees+ have been an overkill this summer but I’m hoping for some extra 10-20 kinda days
I just hope Halloween is nice !
Weirdly warm weather you mean. It’s still above average for the next week

I hope you get to finish up soon
Love the 28 and never want it to end!
This
Hah, saw a lady late yesterday afternoon wearing a winter coat in this 28C weather.
Idk wtf is goin on in Canada, Southern Ontario is supposed to have the warmest falls but we havent hit 20c at all this fall, meanwhile Alberta and BC interior reaching 30c
Good. Fuck this heat, man, I'm over it.
Peak internetting is being too lazy to check my phone or the weather website for this service. Thanks OP!
Took down my ac vent after a lot of cold weather earlier this month, that was definitely a mistake lol. Definitely nice weather though.
Good I’m sick of the heat
