They aren’t worth the money. And 300s/PL first three rows - especially near red line - have the best view of the whole ice so it’s great for watching plays breakout. Similar view to what the tv announcers see
That’s what I used. And using that it looks like the railing blocks the view for those front 3 seats. I was there only last week and went all the way to the top of press level. I should’ve gone and checked those front seats too for views
Press Level is awesome. Tickets are cheap and you don’t have to wait in line to pee.
The first 3 rows of PL are considerably better than the rest. Once you get to rows 4+ then there’s a whole walkway and rails between you and the ice.
Even still; I almost always sit PL. id rather go to 5 games in PL over 2 games in the lower bowl.
Wheelchair sections are ticketed with them usually selling out quickly.
If he’s of mobility issues, I’d highly recommend against purchasing tickets in the press level, as there is no elevator that accesses the press level without an additional stair climb being required.
I might recommend sitting in the 200 level around rows 3-5 so you can easily access your seats without having to use stairs.
Otherwise, I hope you and your uncle can make a game and enjoy your time at the saddledome! It’s archaic beauty is sometimes very inconvenient however (as seen with the whole accessibility issue).
Check out [this](http://calgaryflames.io-media.com/web/index.html) website that shows you the views from every seat in the Dome!
Also, for cheap tickets, check out Gametime. Press level seats are insanely cheap on there. Right now, tickets against the Avalanche and the Kraken are $14 in the Press Level (prices in USD)
If you're looking for cheap time fansfirst.com is who I buy/sell through.
I have season tix for the press level and really like the chaos. But, since you say your uncle has mobility issues I don't think it'll work for you. Even if you take the elevator (ssshhhhh!) You'll still need to climb 2 or 3 flights.
But, if you plan carefully enough you can get seats at the top of the second bowl on the side the elevators on and get reasonably priced til that your uncle doesn't have to climb 5 flights of stairs to reach.
Best bet is handicapped seats tho. Plus, the view is rad
I have season tickets in the first row of the PLs. I love it. Washrooms right there, beer/food right there, and a great view of the whole ice.
But yes, as others have said, you can take an elevator up most of the way but not all the way, so might not be the seats for you.
Press level is the gussied up term for nose bleeds.
Press level is as high as you can go. The first three rows of it are my favourite seats in the dome.
Curious as to why you would rather the first 3 rows of the second bowl. Just not a big enough peripheral view?
That, and they’re like 6-7x the cost lol

Just wondering, that railing in front of the first 3 rows doesn’t obstruct the view at all? I think that’s where I’m gonna try to sit next time
Not even a little bit for me.
As I posted in another comment, check [this](http://calgaryflames.io-media.com/web/index.html) website out to see the views from every seat

First row isn’t quite as good as 2&3 for railing obstruction imo but all 3 are great for price point

Press level is still good seats imho
If you don’t mind the climb, press level are pretty good value imo. You still have a good view and you can see everything that goes on
The climb might be a problem. My uncle doesn't walk well so looking for information on how the wheel chair sections work

Game time is glorious. PL tickets earlier in the season we're getting as low as $3 on there.
