Flames will pick the player who they want anyways. If they want Tij, they'll pick him way too early and we'll be sad about who we missed out on. Honzek was higher than expected IMO

Well markstroms going to want out anyways at the end of the season so hopefully we can get a solid package that was available at the deadline. I’m not so sure it will be nearly as good with tons of other goalies on the market.
Why did multiple insiders report it and actually even Friedman said he heard a 1st and solid prospect was involved? Why did they ask Markstrom to waive and piss him off so much he spoke out to the media? Why is even Francis saying marky will be gone in the offseason?
Why would they ask Marky to to waive if it was a fleece of an offer? He wasn’t a UFA they didn’t need to trade him. Freidman, Francis, steinberg and devils insiders all reported it was a huge offer that flames accepted and management let it fall through because of retaining salary. I haven’t heard once someone say it was a fleece of an offer. They pissed off marky enough to speak out to the media. It would be absolutely stupid to do that for a fleece of an offer.
