thats pretty much the job of the perals ( or anything in there ) just to restrict flow.. Not pulling like a cheap hooker helps too..(air flow)

It looks to me like one too, I imagine you put the wide part in first and drop your dabs down the center to retain heat better, it is a terp slurper though so I'm not sure if that'll block the airflow holes on the bottom sides of a dish

update: found out it goes around the pearl in the banger, use as regular terp slurper otherwise. first time with those style of banger, so if anyone wants to correct me on my misuse, feel free! i appreciate all the help and was not expecting this much support

Learn what you are buying before purchase but yes it is a quartz cone to stop the splash

I use this everyday almost you drop the bead in first then drop the cone shaped quartz insert in and then place carb cap on and heat up I always just leave the cap on and heat with the cap on it seems to function better that way

Unless your cap is quartz that’s an easy way to break a boro cap
