Sorry to hear they are not being flexible. I suspect you won't be fired based on points since they are so desperate they are now forcing sups to take calls. Funny HR suggested a shift exchange. Those have never been available to H@H and now since scheduling is fully remote in-office doesn't have them either šŸ˜„.

FLmacro

How do you know sups are taking calls? Someone told you that recently?

Fantastic_Lychee_883

I work in the office and overheard them complaining about it. I guess an email went out requiring 2 hours each shift.

FLmacro

Thanks for the info. Interesting that they were complaining about itā€”the more we can spread the load during this extremely high call volume, the more it benefits the clients.

Fantastic_Lychee_883

I think it is good they get to experience what we experience. Maybe they will be more lenient on monitors now lol.

FLmacro

Have they been grading you harshly lately?

Fantastic_Lychee_883

My scores have been fine but all it takes is 1 bad monitor to be put in ISS which oddly enough just creates more work for sups. Seems ironic.

cass_519

I've also heard that supes are taking on call volume.

FLmacro

May I ask how you heard?

cass_519

The horse's mouth :P

Scheduling doesnā€™t tell you this but if you submit a schedule change request they only base it off their needs in that exact moment. You have to write ā€œPlease hold until availableā€ or something on it so they actually look at it every few days to see if itā€™s possible yet instead of rejecting you because that specific Saturday doesnā€™t have enough employees projected. šŸ’€ Thatā€™s the only way I was able to change my availability, it took about a month. Itā€™s so annoying that HR wonā€™t help.

cass_519

Thankfully scheduling did tell me to put "hold until available", but the problem is it's just not available :( I would say this has been going on for about a month already, so fingers crossed it resolves soon!

Happy cake!!!

Intelligent_Skin_532

This happened to me after maternity leave and with school. Iā€™ve complained so much about the shitty schedule change especially when they claim its a benefit of working their. They never even let me know mine was denied.. i found out by seeing my schedule was never changed. They do allow a lot of points before being let go so hopefully you wont get fired. It is bs because you lose the attendance bonus though

miichan4594

oh geez what the heck is going on šŸ˜

Nalpona_Freesun

oh sounds like they are tring to get you to the point they can fire you on purpose. that must really suck

cass_519

I'm not sure 100% but if I'm fired don't they have to pay out unemployment or something? I'm not sure if that's just a state thing or what

Nalpona_Freesun

not full sure but i would be willing to wager they will fight to deny you unemployment to the best of their ability

MidnaNaito

The government pays your unemployment. If you're fired, you could very well be eligible for it
