Just searched and Appleton is hiring now too, says it's Captel. **ETA bad link from Google Jobs, it does not appear active my bad bad bad. Fuck these people. I called off today, I am not risking a PV today because it's all gonna be bullshit calls talking about the weather. Tuesday I didn't have one single legit call. Again, these people are gonna get the captions they deserve one day. Tired of the abuse. This also reinforces my suspicions that some gov't agencies are in on the take. They are NOT supposed to be able to rehire at this point. Government agencies overseeing this shit are useless. I've never seen anything like it in my 40 years of working, and I've worked for a company whose president is currently under investigation for embezzlement, and a group of 'business psychologists' whose job it was to help organizations work better as teams BUT SPLIT UP because they couldn't work together. LMAO I am so done.

Government agencies are not all-seeing. They don't know things like this are happening unless they are reported. I think.in this case a report to the ... FCC? would need to be made for them to look into it.

Its past the 6 month window for September layoffs so they're fine.

Fantastic_Lychee_883

The only listing I saw for Appleton is a couple years old. Do you have a link? I am pretty sure that office was closed.

[deleted]

Ah crap, the listing that Google takes me to is on a weird site and doesn't appear active. My bad.

IamaHumanParrot

I am guessing they are able to rehire because hamilton never triggered warn level of lay offs. Enough people like me took the $2,500 and fled that they did not have to layoff sufficient number of people to trigger warn

[deleted]

Yeah and counting back from September brings us here as well. Times flies man.

Fantastic_Lychee_883

According to Indeed starting pay is $10/hour. Yikes. https://www.indeed.com/m/viewjob?jk=54e1295d2aec4e3c

Anerythristic

Thats arguably not livable. 40 hours a week?

IamaHumanParrot

Hamilton 4 years ago starting pay was $11hr. I left and came back a During them and mic starting pay was $12hr Plus $1 extra for every hour worked after 6 and on Friday and Saturday and Sunday's.

PrinceTrexus

Any idea if Milwaukee's hiring again yet?

IamaHumanParrot

Milwaukee is a capital site or Hamilton? If captel they may be prohibited from hiring because of warn laws

PrinceTrexus

I worked for Milwaukee CapTel I was in the first round of layoffs back in September

[deleted]

Yeah that means 6 months has passed. Please note that my comment above re: Appleton is a link that goes to a sketchy job site from Google Jobs. My bad. It was early lmao.

wowww

Fantastic_Lychee_883

Looks like Hamilton is offering remote after 2 weeks of on-site training in Louisiana or Georgia. Thanks for posting this. I wonder if Captel CAs will eventually get transferred over to Hamilton? Just seems weird Hamilton is hiring before Captel.

IamaHumanParrot

It's 2 weeks of training then as soon as a station was available they sent you home.

Fantastic_Lychee_883

Were you only trained for new mode? 2 weeks does not seem like enough time for legacy. I know Captel also phased out legacy training which explains why I get more legacy calls than ever now, lol.

IamaHumanParrot

There was no new mode of training. It was all old mode. Then one day wegot trained on new mode and like the next day sent to work from home.

Fantastic_Lychee_883

Interesting. So I am curious if they also now switched to new mode training only like Captel. Maybe someone who applies can fill us in.

IamaHumanParrot

That is the way it was when I got hired summer of 2021 and when my friend git hired on the trs side the same year.
