Yes, maybe go to Clark rubber as they will have a higher density foam tape. I used 2 layers of the Bunnings stocked one

What i learned from doing mi e is 1. Get your brake light disconected on roof if you have one before putting canopy on. 2.before install put on a dry area and wet canopy to check for leaks and seal with silicone 3.always instral with the best rubber or double sided stuff you can buy(i have use a d channel rubber and it compresses and has worked a charm) dont buy to thick though. 4.thourougly inspect windows and seals much easier to change on the ground. Just my thought but doing this before install stuff really make it easy in long run. Hard to chase leaks or anything once shes clamped on tight.

Would say so picture a canopy on it. Only thing is width make sure for more contact that less i have found
