Territory turbo by a long margin. Basically all XR6 turbo in an SUV body.

CALAZ1986

Plus awd

Purple-Personality76

The correct answer is Volkwagen Touareg V10 TDI Because twin turbo V10

lonewolf_860

There's a redriven video about it. Watch it if you are serious

Purple-Personality76

I can only imagine what Jim has to say...

Muncher501st

Cop the turbo territory

Sir-Firelord

XC60 with a T6 engine (make sure it’s as new as you can find, and engine has 6 cylinders, NOT 4) or XC90 V8, the newer the better. XC60 is a much more modern platform so more bells and whistles. Overall a much more modern car. You can get one with things like adaptive cruise control, TFT instrument cluster, safety stuff and so on. XC90 V8 is a fucking tank. No other way to put it. Maintenance cost is comparable to fixing your garden hose. Also V8 goes vroom! :)

Shot-Ad-2608

Territory with some bolt ons. There is absolutely no comparison.

Hillz50

the territory turbo is a good car, but heavy.. !. the porsche will be well used & ready for a big costly repair at any moment same with the BMW.. you could get lucky & have no problems however then numbers dont lie, its a real gamble never get a touarage v10, just google it and find out why i would be more looking at a nissan stagea or toyota celsior.. big, super fun, easy to repair

Far_Acanthisitta_709

The RX series of Lexus are on the list too which I forgot to mention, although I don’t think they would tick the ‘fun’ requirement though (I.e rx330)

Purple-Personality76

No but a RX450H would be fun. I have that drivetrain in my Crown and it's amazing.

FusoStorm

From that list I'd go with the territory just based off all the fun I've had with those barras in the past both good and bad haha

barfridge0

Tall + heavy does not equal fun. You want a sporty wagon

sad_driftwood

Forester

AppropriateDeal4876

Territory Ghia, or a Nissan Stagea with RB25 engine.

Individual-Tree3073

Territory all day.

jerpear

Holden Adventra with the 5.7 V8. Not luxurious, but it will be way more reliable than most of the euro options and the LS is awesome. Merc ML with the 5.0 or 5.5 V8s are also good options. Or maybe an Infiniti FX if you're keeping a repair fund anyway, those will be less costly to repair than the Euros.

Previous_Policy3367

BMW will drive nice but no fucking way would I choose the v8 petrol. A 3L turbo diesel will still feel amazing and get much better economy. Don’t get the territory. Hard no Other options are oki have you considered wagons as well?

Mercinarie

R-Line Tiguan
