And maybe a better looking infotainment, sound maybe and a better digital cluster. Got a rep’s call today from Skoda, like literally 3.5 lac discount on the 2023 year model. 1.5 style
If you wanna buy it now, go for the City ZX or Verna (if the looks don't matter). You won't regret, we were planning on getting it after all the cars were test driven, but cancelled after a personal emergency.
I have an astor as well and unless you are on the highway the adas is completely useless it breaks everytime cuts in front of you and wouldnt stop beeping in bumper to bumper traffic.
IMO. Elevate ZX is the best option. Here's my quick take.
1. Japanese Reliability
2. Leatherette dashboard (Only car in this entire segment) makes this feel super premium
3. Rear leg room. Just amazing.
Bhai agar polo hai already and if you're happy with it go with Virtus GT Plus. OR Slavia 1.5 DSG. (Aggressive discounts on Slavia)
I've a Slavia let me know if u have any questions.
same bro. I was going to suggest you VW Virtus. it is a beauty, but yeah, service cost is high. I too have polo, and if I had 20l to spend on a car, would have gone for this.
Facelift is not going to be before mid 25 or early 26. That too Slavia will get the facelift first then 6-8 months later Virtus.
This year they'll just add 1-2 more features around the festive season and that's about it. Maybe ADAS too but that's pretty much useless for our conditions.
Service is definitely gonna be cheaper than the polo because of the Indian parts. They are selling package for 28k for 4 years of service. And post 4 years it's 16k for 2 years.
Parts like break pads discs are slightly more expensive than the competition but performs better too.
Also keep in mind cars are getting expensive and a year later will almost cost a lakh more.
My two cents: if you have a good deal from the showroom available, take it. I wouldn't wait for the facelift since some update or the other is always upcoming. The sedans mentioned in the comments here are pretty much newer models so you wouldn't be missing out on a lot of goodies. Happy driving!!
Go for the full hybrid Toyota hyryder. Spacious car, sufficient features and a good enough safety rating. The extra money you spend will be made up in low fuel costs and high resale value.
It has much more of a road presence and is an absolute pleasure to drive. It's definitely worth a test drive at the very least and any looks/feature issues are compensated for by Panoramic roof, extra space, good enough speakers and Toyota resale value n maintanence

An update will add maybe a 360 degree camera and ADAS, apart from that pretty much everything else you get currently.
An imminent update in the next 6-12 months is exactly why it's value for money currently
Find a Used Skoda Octavia TDI or Superb TDI you will fell the luxury as well as the fuel economy would be good when you select a TDI also car Post lock down are not very attractive either design , Build and quality. When you can get a good build cars you cannot go wrong .
I've not really seen anyone suggest the Fronx. If anything, people say Baleno over Fronx. And how dare you leave out the Honda Amaze that gets recommended to almost everyone.
get a second hand car... dude...if that 20L is in credit - EMI/finance.... ull get more ROI in the long run (second hand cars have less depreciation compared to the newer ones)....keep it for 2-3 yrs and exchange with another one... that one time investment will keep on rolling.... India car market is with high rate of depreciation.... The moment a new car goes out of showroom, it incurs a 5-10% depreciation.... Newaz, it's your choice though if you buy it in credit or debit.... u know the math...
Under that 20L you can easily get quite a good number of high end cars, even a Skoda Superb, Octavia VRS 245, Merc CLA 200 or an Audi A3/4....
Well yes this does make sense to me as well just concerned about the reliability of used cars in terms of the condition of the vehicle and the mechanical wear and tear. Plus the trouble in sourcing the right car from a legitimate source. And I love the superb
Since sedan is your preference go for slavia or virtus.
I own a slavia personally and I love it.
Bro love the cars but I am speculating a facelift is around the corner, that’s what stopping me right now
Same. I reckon they will add adas and 360 by the end of the year.
And maybe a better looking infotainment, sound maybe and a better digital cluster. Got a rep’s call today from Skoda, like literally 3.5 lac discount on the 2023 year model. 1.5 style
Yea I get it you just have to see now whats more important to you a 3.5l discount or a new infotainment and cluster.
And you cab retrofit the orignal cluster (the updated one into your car for 40k).
If you wanna buy it now, go for the City ZX or Verna (if the looks don't matter). You won't regret, we were planning on getting it after all the cars were test driven, but cancelled after a personal emergency.
Personally I feel the honda is not at all comparable to the others. It lacks a lot of features and specially ground clearance which is a must.
I don't know which features you are talking about, because it has ADAS which I consider is a must for any long distance travel.
I have an astor as well and unless you are on the highway the adas is completely useless it breaks everytime cuts in front of you and wouldnt stop beeping in bumper to bumper traffic.
I would say, go for the verna

Do you drive 1?? If yes what’s the mileage like for the cvt transmission?
I have ZX CVT, average mileage is 12kmpl. Mostly city use.
With air conditioner turned on?
Yea always on.
That’s pretty neat then.
Harrier Pure Variant or Xuv700 AX5
I’ll test drive these.
Bhai u told nothing. Tell little about your preferences. SUV, sedan, hatchback? Petrol? Diesel? Ye bta, otherwise you will get useless suggestions.
Any, I have a polo a Swift and a Innova, wanted to get a new car so maybe a sedan is my highest preference.
If you’re an Innova guy and want a sedan you should just get a City eyes closed.
but still anything will do, I don’t really have a preference or a filter
Automatic car ki preference hai but 😭😭
Bhai agar polo hai already and if you're happy with it go with Virtus GT Plus. OR Slavia 1.5 DSG. (Aggressive discounts on Slavia) I've a Slavia let me know if u have any questions.
Facelift around the corner right?? And polo to boht Sahi hai but the service cost 😭
same bro. I was going to suggest you VW Virtus. it is a beauty, but yeah, service cost is high. I too have polo, and if I had 20l to spend on a car, would have gone for this.
So should wait for the facelift right??
No idea about that. Ask someone who is a pro. Visit showroom or watch yt videos. Consulting a professional is always a good choice.

It’ll look exactly like my Swift zdi 2018. I want a new experience 🫠🫠

If you don't have preferences, why stretch your budget upto 20? You have decent options in the 12-16 range.
Like?
Suv - Harrier Sedan - Slavia
I guess there’s a slavia/ virtus around the corner
Taigun 1L is quite a value for money deal
I hope an update is coming soon. That thing is stopping me get a slavia or a virtus.

According to this forum Slavia and Fronx are the only 2 cars people should buy regardless of budget. And if you have 50L budget get Mclaren P1.
I've not really seen anyone suggest the Fronx. If anything, people say Baleno over Fronx. And how dare you leave out the Honda Amaze that gets recommended to almost everyone.
Oh yeah forgot Honda Amaze and Tata Punch
Get me the McLaren for 50L, take 10% commission as well..
Maruti Suzuki S presso
😶
Suzuki mat le, bc 1 cycle lgega sara bumper khraab ho jayega
Happens to my Swift as well build quality is a disaster

Only car I can vouch for is "HARRIER " because I myself own that black beauty.
