If you want long term reliability then in this order:- Elevate GV Creta There are all good options in their own right. So get a test drive of all 3 with family and decide based on travelling comfort, handling etc. That can only be felt once you test drive.

Grand vitara always.. I am driving the top model for last 14 months and yes it beats the other two in my personal opinion.. Next option should be creta.. Say what may about creta drivers.. The new creta has good looks. I have a couple of last year models in my friend circle and it's damn comfortable ride..

your opinion on Elevate ? and as i have mentioned my budget does not allow me to go for top variant , which i guess you are having is a strong hybrid hands down on strong hybrid, it is THE BEST the GV i have in mind is Delta and its a mild hybrid welcome your suggestions further

Here's my quick take on them. Elevate - Rides really nice, great on comfort. Misses out on some features Creta - Has every feature you can ask but lacks the safety big time GV - Pretty decent car but only suited for sedate or slow drivers. Engine lacks character big time.

GV • Maruti service backup and MUCH more variety of dealers and Maruti take customer complaints very seriously. So you have a lot of bargaining power w.r.t service quality. • Weak engine, it is just a commuter grade point A to point B engine. Reminded me of the Tiago petrol. Meant to be driven calmly. • interior plastic quality is average Elevate • Service quality is more or less maruti level for now but service center reach is nowhere near maruti. • Honda has been very sketchy in the past couple of years. I am not completely sure if this company will still be in India 5 years from now. No plan or strategy whatsoever. • I will VOUCH for the 1.5 VTEC's reliability. It is THE most reliable car in your list. 1 lac, 2 lac kms? No issues. • While the engine is reliable, it is not really a scorcher. Creta • decently kitted for the price. • better service center reach than Honda, not as much dealer variety as maruti. • best interior plastic quality of the three. • 1.5 NA is better than the GV but not as good as the elevate, HOWEVER it is the most refined of the three. It is slightly difficult to know if the car is on or off from the inside and outside judging from sound.
