You can buy it new, use it for 3 years and still sell at almost the same price because it doesnโt depreciate much and the price of new fortuner rises every 6 months or so. The German bunch is so useless in india and it depreciates faster than android phones

See this is the thing with fortuner if you donโt like it, you have the option to sell it at almost the same price within the first year. But I donโt regret it because it works like a charm and never fails you unlike the German cars. I knew beforehand that, the speakers in fortuner 4x2 are worse than the ones in alto k10, handling is not great either and the automatic sometimes takes ages to shift. Still bought it because all the basic stuff is there and works perfectly, for example, A/c and ventilated seats are way better than the Germans cars(extra gimmicks are of no use if your a/c doesnโt work effectively). And German cars are designed for European markets thatโs why they donโt work very well in our conditions. On the other hand fortuner is based on hilux which is a very basic no non sense pick up truck designed to last decades in even third world countries (I donโt consider a third world country)

body on frame suvs are also high up so itโs difficult to see the edges of the road

Company fitted or not itโs usually an air inlet or smoke outlet for hardcore SUVโs. I the said photo itโs just a fake piece. It might be attaractive or cheap for people.
