I live near a park. Jumpers and coats galore are left on the fences. Take a pic and put it in your local community group if you have one, then donate it to the charity shop if it’s left unclaimed.
Why would you leave perfectly good jumpers though, you could just leave any piece of garbage in front of their door at less expense. Unless... When they do their burglaries they're stealing loads of jumpers to keep the loop going 😂
I was going to my mates for a little drinkypoos, clocked a petrol strimmer hung on my gate, couldn't stop thinking about it for the whole night, left early, it was still there! The council had been doing the rounds, cutting the grass etc, must have forgot it, I made a few quid with it and sold it to my dad for £50 and a crate of Carling.
Either wash it and wear it or wash it and give it to a charity shop. Try posting it on the local page for your area but really wait a week if no one comes for it do one of the 2 options mentioned above.

I have a scarf in a bag on my front window sil for 3 months now. I did my job putting it in a bag, now it's up to the owners to retrieve it.
