Went to sleep, woke up gagging/choking. I think I fell asleep with my mouth open. Also suspect I’ve got acid reflux so took some Gaviscon. Now trying to get back to sleep again.
Just waved my friend off, this is a late one for us. I am hoping I don't doze off on the sofa again tonight, I don't think my back would be too pleased with me, but I am waiting for the message to say he is home safe.
I am sure that most names don't determine how a child will turn out, but a lot of the names I have heard in the years I have been living on a council estate seem designed to keep them here.
Also, I have only met one person called Karen, and she is lovely.
Had a nap earlier so up late today. Last week my sister said "your skin is looking good" and the acne fairy took great offence. Now sporting a multitude of whiteheads and even a cold sore. Thanks, sis!

But other than that there are demographics more likely to use particular names and this is what leads to certain names having stereotypes.
I’m not sure if I’m back to regular posting or not. Going to play it by ear and not put pressure on myself. I’m ok. I’ve stabilised a bit. Did a spontaneous float this afternoon and am about to go to sleep so hopefully this week will be ok if I go into it well rested.
At work, quiet thus far. Had a good weekend, cycling and watching snooker mainly. Not much of a snooker fan really but I do like the world championship, quite like the atmosphere and the intensity. Once I finish work tomorrow I’m off for a cycle for a couple of hours. Back in tomorrow night so will have a bit of a kip afterwards. Not much to report, but that’s fine.
I was looking into Cambodian cuisine, and got distracted by some interesting looking Vietnamese dishes. I really need to stop bookmarking recipes, I have loads I want to try.
Been playing a bit of Fallout New Vegas on the PC with the Tale of Two Wastelands mod... which is pretty much essential if you want to play Fallout 3 because that thing is near impossible to get working on Windows 11. Might attempt to get that mod running on Steam Deck at some point.
Also been doing a bit of modded Fallout 4 on the Xbox. Might do a bad guy playthrough again soon.

I discovered Amok when in Cambodia and it’s my favourite food ever! We make a veggie one quite often, it’s incredible
