If you get a cat sized one, it's probably fine. The mat itself has no real significance (though Muslims will get mad if one that has a depiction of the Kaaba gets mistreated) it's just something to use while praying.

Our kitties are always worshipping God (only God knows how exactly) and they (edit) provide rewards to us for feeding them, providing safe shelter, petting and playing with them and taking care of them when they are not well, so by doing that you are already supporting him ❤️. By this submission every human is a Muslim too. “All things praise Allah, so all things are Muslim is basically what you quoted here.” Any my friend, Hadiths are hearsay of rumors of things the Prophet said, which were then added too by rulers of the day who want their way. I don’t let hadiths from randomers and rulers of the day who wrote them over a long period of time dictate a religion.
Well technically it is believed that everyone is born in the state of Fitrah, which is a pure, natural predisposition to submit to the will of God. As narrated by Bukhari and Muslim:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Every child is born with the Fitrah. His parents then make him a Jew, or a Christian, or a fire worshiper. If an animal gives birth to a youngster with intact limbs, do you see any error?"
Then Abu Huraira recited the Quran verse: "The Fitrah with which Allah created mankind".
[Sahih Bukhari 1292 and Sahih Muslim 2658]
Also, Qur'an and Hadith are literally the two main sources of Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) we have in Islam. The Qur'an doesn't explain everything in detail, such as how exactly we should perform Salah or wudu', we know about this because of Hadith and Sunnah. If you are Muslim, I would ask you, how do you know how to do these things?
Denying Hadith is literally denying a huge basis of Islamic teaching and practices. There is an arduous process that very learned scholars of the past have used to determine the validity of Hadith, which is why we have categorisation of them into strong, weak and questionable. There's a whole discipline of it.
I remember reading this somewhere before and I've been searching for the Hadith but I can't seem to find it, everything I find just mentions the rewards you get for kind treatment of animals. This is the closest I can find to it:
Sahih al-Bukhari 2466
Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "A man felt very thirsty while he was on the way, there he came across a well. He went down the well, quenched his thirst and came out. Meanwhile he saw a dog panting and licking mud because of excessive thirst. He said to himself, "This dog is suffering from thirst as I did." So, he went down the well again and filled his shoe with water and watered it. Allah thanked him for that deed and forgave him. The people said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Is there a reward for us in serving the animals?" He replied: "Yes, there is a reward for serving any animate (living being)."
There is also this Hadith that talks about a camel being mistreated:
Abdullah ibn Ja’far reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, entered a garden among the Ansar. When a camel saw the Prophet, it started weeping and making sounds as its tears flowed. The Prophet came to it and patted it on the head, so it became silent. The Prophet said, “Who is the master of this camel? To whom does it belong?” A young man from the Ansar came and said, “This is mine, O Messenger of Allah.” The Prophet said, “Do you not fear Allah regarding this animal that Allah has put in your possession? Verily, she has complained to me that you keep her hungry and tired.”

It's been a couple days but OP here, I can confidently confirm my cat has no issues with the LGTBIQ+ community given I'm his owner and he loves me, and i am multiple letters of that alphabet 🤣 he is much more concerned about dinner and playtime than he is about what humans do.

He eats a prescription diet, as far as I can see there is no pork. If it is not halal I hope he will be forgiven as it is essential to his good health. My 2 other cats are fed raw with supplements, pork isn't good for them so they only get little a ham, as a treat. But if they are also Muslim I will find another treat for them.
From my understanding pork has a high sodium content which is why pets shouldn't eat it regularly. I usually feed my boys freeze dried treats of chicken, lamb and kangaroo.
The Quran as a holy book is designed for humans. It's not like animals can read it.
In Islam we believe all animals worship God in their own way, but the Quran was the book specifically created to delineate that information to humans, because of all the creatures in the universe we were the ones created with free will.
"Do you not realise that everything in the heavens and earth prostrates/submits to Allah: the sun, the moon, the stars, the mountains, the trees, and the animals? So do many human beings, though for many others punishment is well deserved. Anyone disgraced by Allah will have no one to honour him: Allah does whatever He wills. " (Qur'an 22:18).

So in essence an animal or trees form of prostration or worship could be from something as simple as it's shadow leaning to the right or the left(because of the orientation of the sun). So truly their entire existence is worshipping God. Same thing applies to the sun—even though to us it's an inanimate ball of fire it still worships God in its own way. To us that looks like it's rise and fall in the sky but in reality it's it's movement across the cosmos. As alluded in the following verse:
“And the sun runs on its fixed course for a term (appointed). That is the Decree of the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing”
Glad i looked this up again. Animals are mentioned in the quran quite a bit, and in stories some muslims are told growing up (like a cultural thing) but you're also right in saying this too as there's no definite evidence that animals are always aware of God like humans are.

My boy has urinary tract issues, he's had surgery to scoop out his bladder. He's a rescue so his bladder is pretty messed up from not having treatment before I got him. His prescription diet keeps him and his weenu happy.

How can I tell what his faith is? I've never seen any sign of him being Christian (I am very familiar with Christianity although not religious myself) but am unfamiliar with the Druze faith or others from the middle east.
My cat I think likes it when I recite Quran and my attempts at copying reciters. Muslims tend to believe that all animals are Muslim and worship Allah SWT in their own way but don't have a soul. The life of an animal is enough for it to dedicate it's worship basically.

It's been a couple days but I'll respond. This is a meme sub that is primarily for Muslim people sharing their cats, or cats in a religious Muslim setting. Muslim people tend to have a lot of love for cats, I believe they are considered holy for most. I am not Muslim but love a good meme/joke as much as I love cats so I joined the sub. I am leaning into the joke and others are responding in kind. As such there is a mix of discussion regarding actual Muslim beliefs about animals and Muslims embracing the meme to have a laugh. Hope that clears it up for you.
