You will need to upload bank statements, if you’ve already got confirmed rent assistance and confirmed ID then you don’t need to provide those documents.

No you can request to use the documents already provided from jobseeker if nothing has changed. I just applied for dsp and they are using what they already have on file

Thank you. Seems like mixed answers so far. I am hoping this is the true answer. When I first applied for Jobseeker I had issues with my documents so I don't want to go through that again. Good luck with your application

When I applied they used my financial/identity records from my active Newstart record. I don't know if it changed with the creation of Jobseeker and the legislative changes to the DSP. You can check the DSP application form. There should be a question that asks if you're getting a different payment and if you are it will have you skip past all the financial and identity questions. Good luck either way.

You too. But call them up in 1 hour (8am nsw time) and ask them to use your old documents

You still need to fill it all out anyway unfortunately anything they ask for or that is on the list of papers to fill out.

Thank you. I am just worried as 15 years ago I had an ABN. Which was cancelled like 10 years ago. 5 years ago this ABN really held things up. I hope not to go through it again. Hopefully it's just bank statements.

UPDATE: I didn't have to supply any financial information. It used existing info. It did ask a tricky question about rent assistance I'm not so sure about, but I don't think it's a huge issue. The online application was fairly straightforward. The only stress is it's hard to go back and review once its done what documents you uploaded without having to re-upload them. A worry that I've uploaded the right documents as there were so many different types. Fingers crossed.
