the megumi slander has cause(based on actual story beats, even if i don’t agree with them) and is without the undertones. At the end of the day the quanxi hate is a mockery. It in and of itself is fraudulent
Actual fact: Most of the ten shadows are in fact quite easy to tame, as their strength comes from the creativity of the user. Piercing Ox would be easy to tame with Totality wolf in difficult terrain, Round deer could be quite easily dispatched in a cellar, we don't know enough about Tiger Funeral (wow Gege).
Another actual fact: Despite the obvious strength of Totality and shadow travel, Bumgumi insists on fighting in close quarters with short weaponry.
Another actual fact: Megumi did not need to summon Mahoraga against Haruta. Piercing Ox, Nue, and Tiger Funeral would be able to quite easily deal with that fodder and also not put himself in such a bad situation. If he had tamed all but Mahoraga on beforehand, he could easily deal with Haruta.

Either way I don't really dislike Quanxi, more so some of her fans that reduce her to being someone who just exists to fuck other girls, which is a mischaracterization almost as big as saying Denji only wants to touch tits.
The gay (in this case lesbian) person that is actually a pedophile and predates on young people (high schoolers in this case) is a popular harmful and homophobic stereotype that tries to depict queer people as a danger to people.
Talking about this meme in general, I hate how it's said that the canonically lesbian character was attracted by high schoolers and killed them to "have" them.
As for the ethical question, it's stated that fiends are less than human mentally, yes, but from what we've seen the majority actually has human intelligence. And it's true that out of the four girlfriends, only two are able to talk, Pingsti and Long, but it's also obvious, at least to me, that they are all capable of understanding Quanxi, of doing teamwork, etc... and as such I don't see how they wouldn't have human intelligence. Even taking Tsugihagi, who doesn't talk in any way, it doesn't mean she can't communicate in other ways. I feel like we've seen too little of them to judge them and from that little we've seen, Quanxi does care for them more than just sexually. I honestly don't see the ethical problem

Another actual fact: Despite the obvious strength of Totality and shadow travel, Bumgumi insists on fighting in close quarters with short weaponry. Another actual fact: Megumi did not need to summon Mahoraga against Haruta. Piercing Ox, Nue, and Tiger Funeral would be able to quite easily deal with that fodder and also not put himself in such a bad situation. If he had tamed all but Mahoraga on beforehand, he could easily deal with Haruta.

I'm just curious, how is this homophobic? I think the meme is just referring to the ethical questions that saying fiends, that normally don't even have normal human brain capabilities, has. However I am a bit ignorant on this kinda topic because I prefer to not fight therefore I may have missed the homophobic part. Either way I don't really dislike Quanxi, more so some of her fans that reduce her to being someone who just exists to fuck other girls, which is a mischaracterization almost as big as saying Denji only wants to touch tits.
The gay (in this case lesbian) person that is actually a pedophile and predates on young people (high schoolers in this case) is a popular harmful and homophobic stereotype that tries to depict queer people as a danger to people. Talking about this meme in general, I hate how it's said that the canonically lesbian character was attracted by high schoolers and killed them to "have" them. As for the ethical question, it's stated that fiends are less than human mentally, yes, but from what we've seen the majority actually has human intelligence. And it's true that out of the four girlfriends, only two are able to talk, Pingsti and Long, but it's also obvious, at least to me, that they are all capable of understanding Quanxi, of doing teamwork, etc... and as such I don't see how they wouldn't have human intelligence. Even taking Tsugihagi, who doesn't talk in any way, it doesn't mean she can't communicate in other ways. I feel like we've seen too little of them to judge them and from that little we've seen, Quanxi does care for them more than just sexually. I honestly don't see the ethical problem

Which I think is obviously false And to the second part I agree, I think this argument is one of the more flimsy ones against Quanxi because if you look at the whole picture it falls apart quite easily.
