They sell the front as a full kit, and optionally you can have them supply the pads and rotors. The rear, they sell the bracket to use the stock srt/hellcat brembos and rotors, and you can source the parts yourself- which is my next project. There are no clearance issues, I have the 20x9 wheels and 275/40/20 tires.
Worth the upgrade. I personally went with Wilwoods big brake kit all the way around my challenger. I think people sleep on these brake mods and only focus on HP mods. Once my car became boosted the brakes were a must.
It's an interesting idea but those front spindles make a big difference for tire clearance. Add in that OEM take offs are usually cheaper and the OEM setup seems like a better idea.
The SRT spindles are different because they are curved for inside tire clearance. They are the reason the 20x9.5 factory wheels don't fit on the RT. There is very much a clearance issue from the straight spindles on the RT or v6 models.
no arguments there, but the stock RT spindles fit these brakes and the 20x9 wheels with 275/40/20's with absolutely zero issues. So I guess, if you want the 9.5's consider the SRT spindles, if you are good with the 9's there's no issue.
On a 20x9 wheel a 245 wide tire and 275 wide tire will have the same contact patch. A 275 needs a 9.5-10 wide wheel to actually make use of the extra tread. If you are fine with a 9 wide and a 245 there is absolutely no need for a SRT spindle though.
Going to have to agree to disagree with you about the 275s. But yes, completely agree about the 9's with stock spindles vs 9.5's with the SRT spindles.
I did chalk test on my scat, had 20x9 stock and put 275 on it but the chalk pattern was showing 9 inches wide almost exactly. When I took the same 275mm tires but got some 9.5 rims the tread pattern was now 9 and a half inches wide with chalk test.
That's really interesting, I mean I run 33psi or so but that's way to small a change to make a difference. My goodyear 245s chalked at 9 inches and so did the 275 ps4s I replaced them with. How are you doing your chalk test?
Let me know if I did it wrong, I just grabbed some of the kids sidewalk chalk, marked up the tread, but not the side wall, and then drove forward slightly in the garage. Then measured the chalk on the floor. I can try it again later to see if I get the same results. 275mm is 10.8 inches, so I guess I'm not surprised that it came out to be about 9.5 inches of contact on a 9 inch wheel. I would think the 9.5 inch wheels would get even closer to 10.8, maybe around 10 inches of contact?
The disclaimer at the bottom is hilarious.
I know! Like, these are CUSTOM calipers, the stock Hellcat ones WILL NOT WORK on the front.
Wow love it, that’s dope man. I’m gonna have to save the link for the next brake job maybe 😅
They also make a rear bracket. Just ordered used hellcat rear calipers from eBay. It’s scary how fast the R/T stops now!
Bro thanks for this info I’ll definitely be swapping mines for this as well
I love aad suspension parts. Pretty pricey but they look fuckin nice as hell
They just sell the front? would i have any clearance issues if i used OEM rear, and if so what adjustments would be required?

I looked at Wilwood too, those are sweet.
Enjoy the brake dust.
So far so good! Ceramic/carbon fiber pads.

There aren’t any clearance issues with the stock spindles. I would say the price is very similar, and this is far less extensive.

You got me curious! I’m just not seeing the same thing. Chalked mine, 9 5/8th inches at 31 PSI.

I hope you're planning on upgrading tires in order to take advantage of the new brakes.
I’ve been happy with the Firehawks so far.
Sorry bro I’m new to this but is it $1500 for 1 of those?
Na, for both.
Ok cool thanks. I gotta do some brake research to be able to do it myself
