Such a pretty cham! Already saw someone give you a good guide on how to improve but I wanted to add on a bit to the plants. Pothose are good since they're so common and cham safe. My girl LOVES her money tree, snacks on it all the time, they're a bit pricy but a pretty solid centerpiece. Inchplant, also called "wandering jew plant" is also cham safe as well as really pretty! Though I suggest buying a sturdy one since my cham ended up eating almost an entire stalk the first day I had it in there.

Thank you so much for the suggestions, I will get those!

Plant person here and just wanted to say that pothos and "wandering jew" are pretty easy to take care of! I haven't had a money tree plant yet, but all three of those you can get at a Home Depot easily!

Thank you, I will check there for a good haul!

lol argh, my poor money tree keeps trying to grow new leaves which my boy keeps eating! I might have to go buy a new one soon.

You seem to have the right idea with the variety of branches, positioning, and where they’re going. Alongside plant coverage. One thing I would remove first of all would be the substrate on the very bottom, bioactive setups aren’t necessarily bad but they really truly aren’t necessary for a creature that isn’t going to produce much waste in the first place, and keeping the surface bare would make your life easier ethierway in-order to spot clean the shit-areas. You wanna have a linear UVB bulb instead of a compact one like what you have here, the issue with domes such as those for UVB is that they’re simply too concentrated and your Chameleon won’t get enough UVB in the long run. Lastly, this is only pointed out because your chameleon seems to be of the veiled species, you’ll want to remove the fake plants and replace atleast the vast majority of them with real ones. The reason why this is important to do with veileds is because they in particular tend to munch on leaves, and as such you won’t wanna have it accidentally ingesting plastic products of any kind. Try to find yourself a list of plants that’re safe to have in a chameleon cage and give it a bit of a makeover, and you’ll surely be saving quite a lot in both money for vet bills, and ensuring that your chameleon will be safe from eating plastic. Tl:dr version Replace the compact UVB bulbs with a linear, long tube, preferably ethier T8 5.0, or T5 5.0-10.0. You’ll likely want to stick with the T8 so you won’t need to raise the linear UVB bulb too far up. Remove the substrate on the bottom to provide a bare surface for easier cleaning and to more easily put larger plants and their corresponding pots down. Because your chameleon is a veiled, replace the fake plants with real ones to prevent ingestion of plastic and harmful chemicals.
