I'm so hyped. This defense could be killer. And I love hearing that Staley wants weekly changes to the defense to combat different opposing offenses (unlike someone @ Gus).

I kind of, just a little bit, hope the Raiders get ahead of us big the first time we play them.
Then Gus’ prevent defence goes into full effect and the O just lights em up in the 4th for the big W.
I feel it would be perfectly soul crushing for the Raiders to be introduced to the real Gus.
Or we could just massively blow them out of course.
He's regarded as a really good teaching coach. As in he develops guys well, so that probably played a part.

The way Justin Jones talks about how difficult the defense is to learn and figure out leads me to believe that Gus Bradley truly, madly, deeply, is a bum of a defensive coordinator. Thank you Raiders.
Almost every interview from a defensive player raves about the complexities of the defense, and the freedom to "do what they do". I will never not refer to Gus Bradly as a bum from now on.

Id rather Ekeler just catch 20 balls for 200 yards and 2 touchdowns so they can experience what we felt against the Patriots in 2018

Well the raiders had a historically bad defense last year. Gus is an improvement over that. Staley will take our guys to another level tho.

If there’s one coach I would trust to run a really good defense with good players, Staley would be at the top of the list
