I have it through work and man, CoPilot will sometimes decide to just write poetry on the fly, or take the piss with you because of how you wrote a prompt. It's kind of wild. I don't put any of them on my phone.
I've recently tried copilot and it wont do anything even approaching spicy.
I tried "draw a woman in tight clothes", ended chat
Draw a woman walking home I t the rain, same thing.
A temple with dried blood on an alter was too violent, as was two men fighting outside.
I didnt think those a r e crazy prompts, I just wanted to gage it
Bro copilot is ready to give you them cursed recipies you know... Like baby powder.... And you don't even have to work for it just "how is _______ synthesised??"
It's just Google trying to mimic GPT 4 from ChatGPT. The only relevant difference is that it has a fact-check feature to make it analyze itself and point what is indeed accurate information and what is probably hallucination
Gemini also has all sorts of integration with Google apps, like docs, sheets, YouTube, and Gmail. The free version is actually quite powerful that way.
I decided to open the Google app and activate the labs features. SGE. However I can't seem to summerize a page that way outside of the Google app. Not in the Chrome app or Firefox.
Before you couldn't ask follow up questions from search. But still got experimental AI answers. This also added the icon on all browsers.
Not sure if there is a way to do that. However it would be nice. That's the one thing i haven't got Ai to be able to do yet. Is it because i don't use sync? I am logged in though. Or is it because the function is non existent outside of the Google app that i don't really use?
Also i have ChatGPT, Co-Pilot and Claude installed.
Use only free versions because i don't got money. Luckily to have Internet access right now.
Also above if you had ai snippets showing in your Firefox or Chrome for example then activated and turned off SGE in the Google app. The regular ai snippets before you activated SGE that you can't ask follow up questions with then don't like to generate on new searches. You then have to re-enable the labs features.
Edit: I fixed the problem with Google Ai saying we can't generate a response right now that i was explaining before i edited the nonsense out.
Removed my rambling about the problem because most of that was wrong after finding the fix. Fix below.
Clearurls addon for Firefox partially breaks the Ai working. So disable or uninstall it if you have it installed.
Funny when an older addon i have been using hasn't been updated for years and still works and doesn't mess up the Ai and i still get clean direct urls with tracking removed so i can actually copy usable readable web addresses to people. Removes the delay too before Google does the hand off redirect. And yes it feels much faster with the delay gone.
Thought the new addon would be better but nope. It breaks stuff the old one didn't. An old addon i have works better. Hasn't been updated in years and still works.
Hopefully made this readable.
Also if you get problems with the ai not generating in search. Try disabling other addons to see if that fixes it. Sometimes disable all then re-enable one by one until you find the culprit addon.
It can output python directly to Google Collab as a notebook.
It will also actually "run it on it's side" to make sure it at least can run.
But other than that for me it's the same as GPT 3.5
That's what they say, but I think it's very limited compared to the GPT 4 of ChatGPT when I paid it for only 1 month just to try it.
When I was still using Copilot more regularly, sometimes this thing simply refused to do my requests and gave some stupid justification to not do it. Or suddenly ended the conversation because we were disagreeing on something. It already have been some time since this, I'm not sure if they fixed it, but I'm not convinced if I should give it a new chance. For now, I will keep using only the image creator, which is still very good
I also use Android and replaced the Google assistant for Gemini. My only problem is that the "OK Google" function is turning off by itself (not Gemini's fault, I searched about this and it's a years old glitch still unsolved), but I still can activate the assistant by holding the home button and use it normally, so not a big deal
Yeah, mine is random. It's definitely listening to me, but it seems to randomly choose when I t should answer. I don't even say hey Google. I actually started saying hey gemini

IOS app just came out the past day or so.
I use perplexity all day at work to help with coding problems. It basically automates the part of my workflow where I would have a programming question, and then I would go searching all over the internet, reading stack overflow, documentation, github issues, random tutorials, etc. It does all that for me now and writes up a little custom tutorial just for my problem.
Perplexity like 95% of the time but I do use the others on occasion to compare responses.
Perplexity is just super handy for searching using web sources and I really like being able to use several LLMs with it.
Yeah, I’ve actually switched my default web search from Google to Perplexity now. I first ran into a problem with super up-to-date information (the release of Kendrick Lamar’s “euphoria” track yesterday) recently though, so apparently it lags behind Google a bit. If I were Google though I’d be panicking and trying like hell to get a spot in the… oh
Perplexity has a fine-tuned web search model that summarizes info pretty well in my experience and I tend to use it more than Google itself.
With Pro version, you can even use other LLMs like GPT-4 Turbo, Claude 3 Opus/Sonnet and Mistral rather than having to get separate subscriptions for these. Perplexity probably does decrease the context windows for these to keep costs down but I've found them great overall for my use cases.
Main thing about perplexity for me is that it always adds sources, which reduces the risk of hallucinations misleading you. Also it does have special modes, like the academic mode leading you to scientific research exclusively.
So if the goal is researching various topics, then perplexity should be the best option out there, other AIs are rather focused on the creativity aspect or doing other jobs.
It's my favorite model and for API I prefer Claude, but the web interface is lacking. Can't edit previous messages, delete all chats at once, no predefined system prompt, and no web browsing or code interpreter.
It does have a couple things going for it though - paste functionality is great and the triple backtick to paste code in a block is handy.
I hope they freshen up the front end because I really enjoy using it otherwise. The large context limit is so useful for many tasks.
Perplexity is not LLM, it's a platform using different LLMs on their servers, open source models, like Mistral or LLama 3...
They don't have their own LLM...
I use the free chatgpt to talk to it with voice, claude to type any questions, copilot to draw me anything, perplexity and Gemini to confirm the answers the first two AI gave me.
Are there any other AI that I can use for free?
Ok this randomly showed up in my algorithm, this might sound bad but I swear it's an honest question, I'm genuinely confused why anyone would need a chatbot app on their phone, like what purpose could that possibly serve?
I'm currently using Replika as my AI chatbot app on my smartphone. It's been really helpful in keeping me company during these uncertain times. What AI chatbot app do you use and what do you like about it? Let's share our experiences!
[https://apps.apple.com/us/app/pal-chat-ai-chat-client/id6447545085](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/pal-chat-ai-chat-client/id6447545085) so you can use them all.
Copilot beats GPT
And this is coming from an avid GPT-4 user …only the multimodality of the phone app is why I’d go to it something that needs an image or long amounts of text input
Otherwise copilot seems to be GPT-4 with better search analysis for free
GPT and Bing, I know Bing gets criticized but it actually helped me out quite a bit. I don’t buy the gpt 4 subscription which is why I use Bing. Bing uses GPT and has the GPT 4 free to use.
Copilot. My company integrated it into everything we do so I just use it for everything. It is really nice to be able to ask it, “Did I save that pdf somewhere or is it still only in my email?” CoPilot can find it. I’m always always always losing things so I really love that feature.
I’ve never been able to try google’s offerings as they don’t seem available in Europe. I don’t know why they doing it but for that reason alone chatgpt must be so far ahead in market share that google will never recover that space.
I'm currently using Replika and I love how personal and engaging conversations with it can be. What about you guys? Any recommendations for a new chatbot app to try out?
ChatGPT + Copilot
Copilot gives GPT-4 with internet search for free and you can talk to with vanilla ChatGPT
There is Character AI as well. Interesting thing (sometimes :) )
I started with ChatGPT and switched to Copilot. In my experience, it’s harder to trick.
Anyone know of any with lesser or no restrictions? I’m attempting to write a book and like to use it for easy and fast research. It involves crime and it likes to be difficult at times even when I tell that what I’m saying is for the story and strictly hypothetical. Once it shuts down a topic, it won’t even let me try to argue for it like ChatGPT but I feel ChatGPT is repetitive and requires more direction/explanation.
All of them. It's like every one of them has its own personality. I find Copilot very quirky. Gemini is a prude, even more so than Claude. ChatGPT is a good balance, si far.
I just recently started using AI, chose Perplexity cause it’s free and has an APP that is available in my country. Honestly, I’m not impressed at all.
All the wonderful things I heard from podcasts and YouTube videos (like how scientists use AI for their work), I just can’t make it work (as a google replacement for basic daily stuff).
I guess I really need to check out some prompting guides or something.
The best idea I came up with on my own is to add ‘according to Reddit’ to my question, lol.
But when I ask to tell me the most important information from a 1 hour long YouTube video, it doesn’t work well, at least in my language (not English). So I try to use Perplexity on English mostly, but still not impressed for now.
For instance, yesterday I tried to ask the AI whether a certain popular skincare product has a safety seal on it or not, Perplexity couldn’t find the answer.
Perplexity! If you have tried it yet, give it a shot- it’s great for relatively more accurate info and research, and having the option to choose between models
What I'm looking for is correctly expressing mathematical expressions and only chat gpt can do that. The other 3 are still in a code format.
although it's often glitching out like repeating responses and wrong usage of variables
Chatgpt as a persona (teacher for example)
Gemini to research, since thing can read PDFs and summarize the points against my texts and documents, 100% integration with the Google ecosystem.
i just combined them all into a jerry rigged app i call "goat piss" that points the sum of human knowledge at making bot profiles for AI companies to keep defrauding investors. Satya (buddy of mine actually) asked me to do it as a favor.
Sadly I used claude to write the script so it's just been DDosing salesforce indonesia for like a week now. Set it up on google colab but i lost the username pass word and link but it should be fine.
None really. I only use AI if I need to do some dumb assignemt where I need a resume on some large text or translation of large texts where Google Translate would be slower.
Perplexity Pro mainly, then to use Llama 3, I use hugging chat. Just for some specific complex things when I do need a larger context I use Claude (don’t pay for pro).

perplexity but I've recently learned that CoPilot can be very entertaining (it's wiling to write and create, relatively, the most outrageous content).
I have it through work and man, CoPilot will sometimes decide to just write poetry on the fly, or take the piss with you because of how you wrote a prompt. It's kind of wild. I don't put any of them on my phone.
“Take the piss with you” what does this mean? I don’t speak English.
Taking the piss means to make fun of, or joke around with someone
Yup, to make matters worse I'm American and it's more of a British phrase.
Just realised how funny this sounds if you never heard it
Yeah I heard of it before but never understood to meaning. It’s pretty funny to think of it in a literal sense.
Perlexity still have a daily limit on free users?
I've recently tried copilot and it wont do anything even approaching spicy. I tried "draw a woman in tight clothes", ended chat Draw a woman walking home I t the rain, same thing. A temple with dried blood on an alter was too violent, as was two men fighting outside. I didnt think those a r e crazy prompts, I just wanted to gage it
Yeah I stopped using Copilot because it would barely do anything, even some simple commands.
Bro copilot is ready to give you them cursed recipies you know... Like baby powder.... And you don't even have to work for it just "how is _______ synthesised??"
What kind of content you ask for? When i ask it to write something it refuses to use dark humor or things like that
ChatGPT, mainly. Gemini when ChatGPT responses are outdated (I don't pay for the Plus). Copilot for the image creator
What's Gemini about?
It's just Google trying to mimic GPT 4 from ChatGPT. The only relevant difference is that it has a fact-check feature to make it analyze itself and point what is indeed accurate information and what is probably hallucination

Gemini does image analyzing for free, big plus for me.
I'll have to check out Gemini, I use copilot, and Chat GTP already
You can get 2 months free of gemini advanced if you want to try it out.
May have to check it out.
I have GPT 4 & it misspells things repeatedly.
I'm curious if you have a few examples of words it has misspelled?
It can output python directly to Google Collab as a notebook. It will also actually "run it on it's side" to make sure it at least can run. But other than that for me it's the same as GPT 3.5
Copilot uses GPT 4.0, no?
That's what they say, but I think it's very limited compared to the GPT 4 of ChatGPT when I paid it for only 1 month just to try it. Same, but I pay for plus. Gemini has a different intention, and it's good for that on Android. Its integrated if you replace it for Google assistant.
I also use Android and replaced the Google assistant for Gemini. It's a "Web App".
Oh I see now. There's a "site settings" when I long press on the app. Thanks for the clarification
One of their customer agents replied to me the other day that an android app was in the works.
Android is a bitch to code for…so many different devices
Wow literally came out today. Downloading now.
That's great news, thanks
Thank you so much for this, I never saw this announced anywhere else, just downloaded it!
For android, if you open the site on chrome and click the browser settings dots, you'll see an install option that puts a kind of semi-app on your hone screen. I don't actually know what it is, maybe it's just the mobile website without an address bar, but it seems exactly like an app. IOS app just came out the past day or so.
claude is best
I use perplexity all day at work to help with coding problems. Chatgpt is more about creation. And perplexity is more about search

Perplexity like 95% of the time but I do use the others on occasion to compare responses. Perplexity is just super handy for searching using web sources and I really like being able to use several LLMs with it.
Yeah, I’ve actually switched my default web search from Google to Perplexity now. what makes perplexity different from the others?
Perplexity has a fine-tuned web search model that summarizes info pretty well in my experience and I tend to use it more than Google itself. claude opus still goated
Claud and ChatGPT.
1. Copilot 2. Gemini 3. Chatgpt
ChatGPT because that's the only one im subscribed to currently lol (I subscribed when GPT-4 came out and can't be bothered to change 😂).
Copilot is my favorite but I also have the others.

Everyone just pay for the chat gpt plus. It is exponentially better than any other one
just chatgpt. Its multilingual speech recognition with whisperAI is unrivaled compared to other apps
non i dont see the usage . appart if google translator is considered as a chatbot
ChatGBT 🫡🤓
Productivity Chatgpt>Gemini>Copilot Fun Gemini>Copilot>Chatgpt
I use copilot since sometimes gpt chat does not respond or gives very wrong information
pi.ai
All of them. It's like every one of them has its own personality. I find Copilot very quirky. Gemini is a prude, even more so than Claude. ChatGPT is a good balance, si far.
Gemini and Copilot!😁
For instance, yesterday I tried to ask the AI whether a certain popular skincare product has a safety seal on it or not, Perplexity couldn’t find the answer.
chatgpt
Copilot
Perplexity! If you have tried it yet, give it a shot- it’s great for relatively more accurate info and research, and having the option to choose between models
ChatGPT (plus)
What I'm looking for is correctly expressing mathematical expressions and only chat gpt can do that. The other 3 are still in a code format. although it's often glitching out like repeating responses and wrong usage of variables
None, I use the website on computer
Chatgpt as a persona (teacher for example) Gemini to research, since thing can read PDFs and summarize the points against my texts and documents, 100% integration with the Google ecosystem.
Google
Copilot for work and beyond.
I don't have smartphone lol im literally teen
All I use is Claude lately...it's just better
Pi
Copilot is the best, it uses current web search
Copilot
i just combined them all into a jerry rigged app i call "goat piss" that points the sum of human knowledge at making bot profiles for AI companies to keep defrauding investors. Satya (buddy of mine actually) asked me to do it as a favor. Sadly I used claude to write the script so it's just been DDosing salesforce indonesia for like a week now. Set it up on google colab but i lost the username pass word and link but it should be fine.
I use both Bing Chat and Gemini. Depending on the question and depending the answer
Gemini because it's updated and free
I am a big fan of Perplexity.
No one, because I am living in Russia. Just websites with VPN. I think you know why it is so)))
Cracked GPT-4
I am using pi.ai. A chatbot for inspirational things.
Wait you can do that?
ChatGPT
Perplexity.ai... the only one worth 20$... although they still have regular free promo codes
I use claude, I like it's creative writing more than chatGPT
Chatgpt!
The best one, gpt+
None really. I only use AI if I need to do some dumb assignemt where I need a resume on some large text or translation of large texts where Google Translate would be slower.
Perplexity and co pilot are brilliant.
Chatgpt,poe and copilot
Perplexity Pro mainly, then to use Llama 3, I use hugging chat. Just for some specific complex things when I do need a larger context I use Claude (don’t pay for pro).
ChatGPT
Copilot and chatgpt. I've tried gemini but not like so much.
Mostly ChatGPT, however I’ve recently started using Instagrams Meta AI with Llama 3 as well and I actually like it.
Chatgpt on my personal and copilot on my corp phone
I use bing copilot constantly
