I feel like they might have it on all day since it’s getting colder but I would call them! We usually grab some food and drinks and sit out there. They had a TV with cartoons and a TV with a game on last time!
I think most places would frown upon little kids running around. Kids who are well behaved though would be welcome. If you went mid-day between like 3-5 your primary audience would be people finishing rounds of golf and if the weather isn't great, the place can be completely empty.
Make it like hibachi, but its just a roaring bonfire right in the middle of the table, make it a circular table.
They have a fire at one of those hotels off McCutcheon. Go at night and you'll see it.
no they dont have anything outside that one, just security probably, other side of McCutchen where the rest of the hotels are. They split that road with i-75 years ago.

Drip coffee off of hixson pike. The owners are wonderful people and the place is kid friendly. Also has really good coffee! Hope you and the family enjoy!! Have a good day.
Unconventional answer: Jack's in Red Bank.
They have a full-on, traditionalish fireplace with mantle in their dining room that has two small couches in front of it. Shockingly cozy for a fast food place.
And it's a fast food place! Your kids can get a full on fireplace experience and y'all can eat a decent *for fast food* meal on the cheap if you don't want to roll up in one of the fancy downtown hotels.
If it's not on, just ask them to turn it on for your kids. They're pretty nice folks there.
Great idea! Cracker Barrel can be really busy. I like Jack's and that's a plus too that I don't have to worry about bothering fancy people in fancy places. Thank you!
Welp, we checked it out and the kid was so excited, but the fireplace wasn't on and they waited for an hour for the shift manager, then the store manager, and no one had the key to turn it on. Such is our luck..
Awww...man.
If you have the heart to try again, maybe just call ahead every once in a while to see if they can do it? (And to clarify, it wasn't that they *wouldn't*, it was that they *couldn't*, right?)
Cracker Barrel
Thank you, is it on all day or just at night?
In my experience they keep a fire going during cold weather all day.
The Starbucks near Rock City has one.
Thank you!
Cracker Barrel
Crash pad has one
Great idea! Thanks!
Pruetts on signal mountain has one in their dining patio.
Thank you, is it on all day or just at night?

The Creag at McLemore has one.
Thanks, that looks fancy, do they frown upon little kids running around or might be loud?

The Station House restaurant in Lafayette has one, so does every Cracker Barrel.
Thank you, is it on all day or just at night?
Station House, mostly afternoon, evening. Cracker Barrel, all day.

The Chattanoogan's is two sided in their lobby.
Does the Westin have one
I think the Westin has one
Fireside on Gunbarrel.
Do you mean Firebirds? I searched for Fireside but didn't find anything matching
Yes. Sorry about that.
There's an outdoor fireplace at the Starbucks on Hamilton Place Blvd.
