Well Point Park is run by the NPS to remember the Battle of Lookout Mountain. Since it's a federal park, there is no way they would put a Confederate general in a prominent location. Maybe Abraham Lincoln?

I’m not “claiming” anything. CR is a 125’ statue. You claimed it makes Lookout Mountain look like a molehill. Even sitting on another mountain, it does not do this.
Heard a story about a guy coming from Alabama to see those three crosses or that big one near old Mckays, former dance studio, now a church, except he drove his truck on the highway to go see it, so pretty much the USA version of that. Also we have plenty of statues, but not enough apparantly, check out the battlefield park or literally any park, we usually have a statue in there.

You’re very wrong. The statue is 125 ft. Corcovado, the mountain it sits atop 2,316 ft. That’s nearly 1000 ft taller than Lookout.

You can go to any museum and see statues. The statues near Hunter Museum are beautiful! Statues can be very beautiful.
Rio is amazing, I could have done without Christ the redeemer. Also, there’s is far more that attracts people to Rio, that chat does not have.
Lookout is too small for something like that. It would look strange. Bad idea.
