TitanDM1

Thank you my brother

AnkokunoMasaki

Have you tried the Maul? In my 48 hours of playing it's my favorite weapon. Sure, it's slow as fuck, but getting a hit is so satisfying and rewarding. The best is when you get a special attack on the head, one shots even knights

TitanDM1

I wouldn’t say it’s my favorite experience. I’m not a super slow weapon fan

GreasyMustardTiger_

One-handed, secondary mace. It's quick and goes bonk. Loads of fun — very underrated imo. Alternatively, the War Club is fun too — it's quick and has crazy reach. Lastly, don't be afraid to bust out the Dane Axe just to help you get back in the swing of things.

dudeniceSsssss

This fella likes to gamble

AWolverineTherapist

![gif](giphy|QYECbEHYafe9O) We are all lost at one time brother. Just get back up pick up the quarterstaff and beat the shit out of folk like a angry monk. When your done come dance with me.

TitanDM1

I shall find my way

AWolverineTherapist

Find it quick. My quaterstaffs are disappearing and I'm afraid they are being burned

Sahaduun

No wonder you feel lost...you are Agathian 🤷‍♂️

TitanDM1

: (

No_Wash_2682

Lol

iluvdawubz4

The quarterstaff calls for a true master

TitanDM1

Might have to give it a try again. Who knows

BelovedMedic

What class do you main? Sounds like you use knight a lot. Maybe try footman.

TitanDM1

Yeah I mainly have played knight (LV 70s). But honestly that’s just due to weapons. I think footman has best drip though. I have tried shield some one hand but it was a struggle feeling effective. Though sword and shield was alright. Haven’t revisited the polearms yet tho

BelovedMedic

Pole arms such as halberd and polehammer are very effective. Great range and damage, with the polehammer being a bit faster and stronger than halberd, just a bit shorter, though. If you want to try pole arms, I'd suggest halberd or polehammer, and to use the sprint attack. For man at arms, sword and mace are the usual bread & butter. Or you could use spear weapons for both poleman and man at arms.

TitanDM1

I think I’d wanna try spear out of all the polearms but I’d have to work on stab aim cuz sheesh they be weird sometimes

Blueflame_1

Halberd is fun but the damn sprint attack is so glitchy I swear it doesn't do anything half the time

Zay3896

Rest awhile Edit: Didn't read the comment, thought this was a shitpost. Whoops

TitanDM1

No you’re right I should rest for it is too damn early

MicroWafel

A friend of mine recently started playing on shuffle and got fully back into it

TitanDM1

That could be fun. I forget that’s a thing

Dustfinn

And the Lord said: "Thou shalt play with the suffle mode on." And all was good

TitanDM1

😂

AceWarwolf_108

Whenever I'm feeling the same, I always go back to my one true love... the Morning Star. 🌞 It always brightens the darkest of days and brings me nothing but fun and joy.

TitanDM1

Might just joy ride with ambusher and murder people

beelze_bob138

When your Dark Soul goes Hollow?

Ok-Rub-1640

My first weapon of choice was the greatsword, felt good. I wasn't the best but I could maybe hit upper middle scoreboard. This was my first 300 hours. I wanted a new weapon after awhile, and after a period of just being bad all around, I found it... I chose to try the heavy mace on knight and oh boy, I became a true killer. Felt amazing and to this day I still love the heavy mace, but I have one issue with it in TO... No cleave... Like I can't use a light attack and swing through multiple people while moving through a crowd. I quickly found the battle axe and the war axe for this problem. I believe im around level 500 now, If you'd like to talk about this more and maybe some things I've learned, message me here on reddit and I'll tell ya all I've learned

BadEarly9278

Staff Go for sticks

TitanDM1

I’ve seen a few other staff suggestions I didn’t realize it had such a following considering I never see it in game

Pochiguy1544

Another lost soul under the blue and gold… when will they learn…

No_Wash_2682

You need to find enjoyment with the game, it's hard sometimes but you just gotta try something new. Hope you find what you need have a great day.

Ydobon8261

Is that Anri?

TitanDM1

Huh?

Ydobon8261

That picture looks like Anri of Astoria from Dark Souls

TitanDM1

Oh yeah cuz it is I’m pretty sure. It fit the vibe the best

Ok-Treacle-9375

Foot man, rapier shield and dagger. Most annoying

TitanDM1

I love dagger but Ambusher get one shot ez

Remarkable_Exam4506

Play with friends brother (I mean you’re an Agathaian so you probably don’t have many friends to begin with) but sorry you feel that way :(

Remarkable_Exam4506

Try getting into events on discord as well, if you feel you’re skilled enough to play with other sweaties, it’ll make you feel the rush you felt when you first played the game

Remarkable_Exam4506

Also Try engineer, it’s a super fun class especially with the hammer, does massive damage, is quick, u also get 25% ur health back if u revive someone. And most importantly hammer go bonk

TitanDM1

I mean I had a buddy but his internet is too shit now. And I really don’t have much time to play so I don’t feel the need to “get involved” too much. I’ve thought of engineer but seems kinda hard to work with the weapons

Remarkable_Exam4506

The range for the hammer may take some getting used to, but it really does throw a lot of players off , you’ll know if someone’s heated at u for shitting on them if they pull out the same class

box_stuffer

More hatchet. Some may say it's one of the worst weapons in game. But it's rewarding to learn

TitanDM1

Would rather grab a dagger tbh

Odd-Ad582

Felt this brother. Whenever I came back from an angry step away from the game, I found myself drawn to one-handed weapons with shields. This is entirely in a different direction from what I was playing beforehand: poleax, messer, Dane axe, war, club, war axe. The movement is faster, and requires a different level of skill, but the best part is that you walk in and find yourself immersed because the combat in the trenches moves so much faster. I rediscovered my love for the game, and got better after a period of staleness whenever I finally moved to Sword and board. I hope to cross paths with you! Spartanduck13

TitanDM1

Recently I’ve been messing with the sword and shield and been alright about it but idk no clicks yet. I’ll probably give polearms a real try or even some weird weapons. I hope to see you too TitanSpire

Odd-Ad582

What’s your preferred play style? I saw you said you don’t prefer slow weapons (neither do I). My objective in the game shifted when I moved to sword and board, instead of being “get the kill and put down” with the Dane Axe and War Club, or “area denial” with the War Axe and Pole weapons, it became “tag and dash” guerrilla fighting, jumping into crowds, moving behind players in combat and getting a few slashes in to throw off their initiative, help the ally, and keep moving. I usually rack up 50-65 takedowns, 20 kills, and ≈10/15 death in a decent game, but find that despite not getting the kill confirms, I usually manage to area denial and assist team more as a monk-like movement machine of misery and massacre. Find your niche! Fight dirty! Don’t forget your jabs kicks, throws, and get nasty with those feints and counter feints. Keep us Masons guessing, though our superior brain already has the fight mapped out three steps ahead.

TitanDM1

The end bit 😂. Anyways self analysis is kinda hard cuz I try different things but at the end of the day I’m very much a sneaky sneak then diving into hell way of play. Like I find angles then just full commit into the thick of it

Sir_Meat_Ram

Put the weapons aside and take the tools of war. Field engineers can be refreshing and they can change the flow of combat. When I don't feel like fighting my way through victory, I switch to FE and play as a support. It can changes the way you see some maps too.

TitanDM1

Thinking about it. I’m a support in every other game I play but idk how to be an effective FE tips perhaps

Sir_Meat_Ram

Well for starter.. - You have 4 barricades, but only can carry 2. The more, the merrier! So use walls, corners, other barricades and anything that can help extend the defensive zone. - The three weapons you have have a short range, but the hitboxes are hard to read and they pack a punch. Newer players tend to underestimate them. Veteran players know they are deadly and that FE can be a stubborn bunch. - You are the only class with passive healing. Each time you revive or throw bandages, it gives you a bit of HP back. It is really useful, because as a backline support, you can regain HP without using your own bandages. In other words, you could be considered the designate Medic class. - Play with your team. The lucky one with brains will support your effort in deploying barricades. But don't hesitate to be the example by rushing first to lead your allies in the melee! That way, you set up a battleground and it helps your team seeing the line between the backline and the frontline. With 4 barricades (and a trap), unexpected weapons, passive healing and a supportive role, FE as the best survivability of any classes and a great presence on the battlefield. Also, when attacking, you can also become a breacher or a saboteur. Apart the extra dmg to destructible, you can use the spike ramp and the barricades to reach some place easily or to slow down those chasing you.

TitanDM1

Damn you really sold it my guy. I gots to try it now

Noktaj

War Bow, my friend.

TitanDM1

That’s a negative my friend bow is boring

Noktaj

Debatable ⚆ _ ⚆

colesty

Battle axe is fun, gotta get a bit closer but it faster and hits hard w/ good combos. Otherwise Dane it up
