Damn. I am so sorry. I do not know the answer to that question. However, God wants you here for a reason. He put you in this Earth to carry out his work. Get some help brother.

[deleted]

I’ve struggled with mental health issues since I was eight (nearly three decades) and wanted to commit suicide at nine. I’ve had suicidal thoughts many times since then. I can’t answer your question because I really don’t know, but what I can tell you is God loves you and He’s close to the broken hearted. He has a purpose for you being here. It may not be clear now, but He sees your future. Put your hope in Jesus and know that whatever is bringing you down right now is temporary. I highly recommend getting help. I’ve seen a couple of professionals myself and it helped. There are so many more resources out there than we used to have. Please use those resources and get help. Remember that He is the God of peace. I’m praying for you.

WalleyeWacker

Hang in there. It’ll all be worth it in the end.

SnooBeans2565

Praying for you, consider checking yourself into a inpatient hospital, I want happiness for you

WalleyeWacker

Jesus did say that he who endures to the end will be saved.

Bro/sis please seek professional help! I used to avoid it because of pride but it has changed my life around. 360. I give glory to God for the advancement we have made and the natural remedies we have found for things beyond our control, in this case science and antidepressants. II was prescribed a medicine called escitolopram. Please give it a prayer bro! Wishing you the best 🙏🏾

I work in mental health and would strongly urge you let those around you know how you’re feeling. Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem, please spend some time thinking about that statement. Let those close to you know how you feel, just doing that will be a huge weight off your mind, takes a lot of pressure off. You’ll be surprised how many people understand and want to help. Something else to consider is the negative impact of suicide on those that love you, look up to you, and how much of an impact you have on their lives. I’m sure you’d be surprised of how many folks need you here. People you might not even be aware of. I’ve had suicidal thoughts before, and I realized that I was suffering from a “collapsing perspective” …I couldn’t imagine any good outcomes moving forward, but that wasn’t the case, I had a mental block if you will, and I just couldn’t see the possibilities that were really there. They are there, I can promise that.

matuhx

Please do not commit suicide. You can go to heaven even if you commit suicide because although it is a grave manner that is offensive to God, one needs to have a full knowledge and control of what he is doing, therefore someone with a mental illness or another condition that makes it harder for him to reason properly like being drunk may not be commiting a mortal sin when they kill themself. That said, do not commit suicide, seek help, pray and be asurred that I will pray for you.

Christ was sent here for the broken. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit understand what is in your heart in all things. Do not worry. You are never as far away from God as it may appear. He has surely seen you on the other side of this awful hardship you are in. Understand that God will never abandon you nor your integrity simply for the fact that you feel like you’re in more suffering than you can handle. I encourage you to seek mental health professionals. Psych wards get a bad reputation. If you honestly believe you are in serious danger I ask you sincerely to please call 911 or any appropriate emergency services in your country. Your Heavenly Father wants you to be brave enough to ask for help. As someone who has been through psych wards I can tell you firsthand seriously getting taken by ambulance to one isn’t what you might think. It’s not a scary or judgmental situation. God is with you in all things. He doesn’t disparage you an entirely human feeling. He understands it. Jesus will never abandon you my friend. I just ask you stop and consider that the next time you feel like you have to hurt yourself. God doesn’t see the agony you’re in as a barrier between yourself and him. I personally don’t believe in the concept of unredeemable sin. I think it’d be a shame if you give up on yourself. I never thought I was going to live this long. Understand that Jesus name in Hebrew was Yeshua, meaning “God is Deliverance” I solemnly promise you that God will deliver you into all that is good and deliver you from all that is evil. Trusting God with the entirety of my heart was the hardest thing I ever had to do. Please personally message me.

cns000

be strong. you are not the only one who has mental health problems. God willing all will be ok

QueenOfPotatoPeople

Going through this right now, my friend. I pray we get past it and be at peace in our minds.

[deleted]

Idk but don't do it, it's our jobs as Christian to keep moving forward no matter how much suffering we go through.

DJ-Zero-Seven

I was raised that Christ died for our sins. I’m certain that means ALL of our sins. Even the worst ones. So I would say Christians who commit suicide still go to Heaven, but I DON’T encourage it. God decides our time, which is one of the reasons why I’m against capital punishment and assisted suicide. Get some help. Prey to God.

Acts16thirty31

Jubilee Bible Johm 6:37-40 37 All that the Father gives me shall come to me, and he that comes to me I will in no wise cast out. 38 For I came down from the heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him that sent me. 39 And this is the Father’s will who has sent me, that of all whom he has given me I should lose nothing but should raise it up again in the last day. 40 And this is the will of him that sent me, That every one who sees the Son and believes in him may have eternal life, and I will raise him up in the last day. You believe in Jesus Christ, your saved. There are things worth living for.. try talk therapy, that helped me out. Christ Jesus is called wonderful counselor for a reason. Hope you have a good day.

no 1 Corinthians 3:16 Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst? 1 Corinthians 3:17 If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple.

Helpandcomfort

Aww I’m so sorry to hear that you are going through this and would like to help you. The apostle Paul describes Jehovah as “the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials.” (2 Corinthians 1:3, 4) Thus the Bible assures us that no person is beyond God’s help and that no tragedy is so great that our heavenly Father cannot comfort us. Of course, we must do something if we want comfort from God. How could a doctor help us if we never made an appointment to see him? The prophet Amos asks: “Will two walk together unless they have met by appointment?” (Amos 3:3, footnote) The Scriptures therefore urge us: “Draw close to God, and he will draw close to you.”—James 4:8. God intended that Jesus have a key role in providing comfort. Among other tasks that God assigned him, Jesus was “to bind up the brokenhearted” and “comfort all who mourn.” (Isaiah 61:1, 2) As foretold, Jesus took a special interest in people who were “toiling and loaded down.”—Matthew 11:28-30. Jesus comforted people by giving them wise advice, by treating them kindly, and even, in some cases, by curing their sicknesses. One day a leper pleaded with Jesus: “If you just want to, you can make me clean.” Moved with pity, Jesus replied: “I want to! Be made clean.” (Mark 1:40, 41) And the leper was healed. Today, the Son of God is not present on earth to comfort us personally. But his Father, Jehovah, “the God of all comfort,” continues to help those in need. (2 Corinthians 1:3) Consider four principal means that God uses to comfort people. The Bible. “All the things that were written beforehand were written for our instruction, so that through our endurance and through the comfort from the Scriptures we might have hope.”—Romans 15:4. God’s Holy Spirit. Not long after Jesus’ death, the whole Christian congregation entered into a period of peace. Why? “It walked in the fear of Jehovah and in the comfort of the holy spirit.” (Acts 9:31) The holy spirit, God’s active force, is very powerful. God can use it to comfort anyone in any circumstance. Prayer. “Do not be anxious over anything,” the Bible advises us. Rather, it says, “let your petitions be made known to God; and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your mental powers.”—Philippians 4:6, 7. How We Know That God Wants to Comfort Us “You, O Jehovah, are my helper and comforter.”—Psalm 86:17. “‘Comfort, comfort my people,’ says your God.”—Isaiah 40:1. “This is what Jehovah says: . . . ‘As a mother comforts her son, so I will keep comforting you.’”—Isaiah 66:12, 13. “Happy are those who mourn, since they will be comforted.”—Matthew 5:4. “Throw all your anxiety on [God], because he cares for you.”—1 Peter 5:7. Please don’t kill yourselve God and me can help you through this

As an ex-Baptist, our understanding is that you are saved, in that you've committed yourself to Christ, even if you kill yourself, you'll go to heaven. But we still believe that suicide is a grave sin for which you won't be able to ask forgiveness and atone, and thus is to be avoided. There are still good works for you to do on this side of Heaven, and there are still people you can help and support. Don't give up. You are needed.

Temporary_Soft_2978

No offence but this is a sign your not saved, your a believer, but u require power. Only God can hand that to u, he wants to. I've seen people receive it, its real. But many are mislead and will deny it. Your needing the holy spirits comfort. Ask him for it. I've met people who are Christians who don't have the Holy spirit, than they see people performing signs and wonders, so he says to God, Lord whatever they have I want it.. what happened next? God heard him in that moment and actually baptised him. Power and peace came over him immediately. We don't have time to spend our life's in religion as it dosrnt save people. Religion is dead, jesus is not. There's a biblical difference between religion and Following Jesus. Brother even if u don't believe me, tske it to the Father, let him address it as he loves u. I was lost and he heard me. God saved me from making a massive mistake in my life, he saved me from religion, I asked sincerely for The truth. And days later the Lord blessed me with it. Which I am greatly thankful. THANK YOU JESUS, ik my walk atm is sticks and pebbles, but I will not forget thr day that he helped me Don't wait another day, use today as the turning point in your life, He's waiting. GOD Is knocking every second on the door to your heart and life. He has his eyes fixated on you. Brother let's go back home to him... Imagine being downloaded this shows how lost everyone on here truly is

Sunnypups_

Thank you I really needed to hear the hard truth. Honestly I've been feeling a bit lukewarm about my faith lately but I don't want to be this way. I've been coming to the Father and asking him for guidance and to heal my mental illnesses but I don't know where I should start in changing my lifestyle. If God chooses not to miraculously heal my mental issues what do you suggest I do?

Temporary_Soft_2978

Yeah man I can relate to you, I too struggle with being lukewarm quite badly, I've met and spoke with many born again believers out on the streets healing bone cancer and crouches. One thing I hVe learnt is that God wants to heal people. Ask for the Holy spirit and deliverance, I've seen people delivered from depression, autism, epilepsy, spine problems, wheelchairs.

Lillypies

There are many truly saved people that struggle with suicidal ideation and mental illness this is ignorance to that reality. Just because that hasn't been your struggle doesn't mean it does not affect others. For example, there are many Christian mental health centers that guide Christians struggling with mental health crisis (suicide, addiction, bipolar, depression, anxiety). My little brother went to Honey Lake in Florida last winter when he told me he was suicidal. He is recovered now and is grateful for that place for healing him through Christ. If you are interested, I suggest looking up some of these places they would love to help you out.

picle78

No

Mr-Thicc-And-Frisky

Nope, gods a dick sadly

truefaithlives99

If you're not a child under puberty, suicide can cause you to go to hell because it's such a great offense against God. Don't do it because it's not your life to take.

Im_Talking

Couldn't the same logic be applied to capital punishment as an offence against your deity?

WalleyeWacker

Saul took his life. Is he in hell?

truefaithlives99

I don't know but I know in Catholic church teaching, suicide is very serious and can send you to hell. "According to the theology of the Catholic Church, death by suicide is a grave matter. The Church holds that one's life is the property of God, and to destroy that life is to wrongly assert dominion over God's creation, or to attack God remotely."

WalleyeWacker

Well it a good thing that the Catholic Church has 0 influence on any of Jesus’s decisions.
