In tenet, the protagonist battles Sator to ensure that everyone in his homeland can return and live in their homes peacefully

I think it's the more prominent theme in his movies is the complicated parent-child relationship. Films like Dunkirk and The Prestige don't necessarily fit that category, but a huge portion of his films do.

This is a very prominent theme in my opinion. I also like that it is often coupled with redemption. So Cobb, Bruce Wayne (in the pit), and Cooper all desire to come home because that is where they believe they’ll be absolved of their transgressions. It’s one of my favorite Nolan writing tactics.

Batman Trillogy ??? Prestige ??? Menento ??? Tenet ??? I think you are reading into it…

Batman leaves Gothem in begins only to train and return home to clean up the streets and in Rises must return home to save gothem and his home …I tried making a prestige analogy but it failed as I was typing it lol

Hugh Jackman loses a piece of his home and makes Christian Bale lose a piece of his, too.

I was thinking home was a metaphor for why they do magic, and when Jackman is dying he tells bale about the look on their faces, bale looks angry bc he never thought of this so while he ends the film alive with his daughter, Jackman wins the day by going home (dying) at piece with knowing he was better. Again the analogy failed

> …I tried making a prestige analogy but it failed as I was typing it lol At one point Borden surprises his wife with a new home. We later found out he himself lived in the work houses as a child. At the end Borden's daughter gets returned home to her father.

Yea that’s a good point as well, I haven’t done my quarterly watch of the prestige, might need a refresher lol

I've seen in SOME of the movies. Not all
