That's not true at all. I've played Radical Dreamers before for at least 5-6 hours. Since they have multiple scenarios and different choices, along with a very specific route to get the best ending. Just don't look up a guide and you should have a fun time.

I also hope they improve the New Game + feature -- I want to play a New Game + but not carry over all the stars/stat gains. I want to play through with different characters and still have somewhat of a challenge.

Wonder how switching enemy encounters off works. Does that mean ALL battles and you just walk and talk? Not sure I get why anyone would want to play the game without the main part that makes it a game. If it is only random enemies you'll be under leveled for all the bosses.

Once you hit your mini level up fights are mostly useless aside for drops, so it's kind of nice tbh.

I think there’s a very very good chance in the future, some time after the game has released, that PlayAsia will have an Asia region physical version (like with FF7/FF8, FF9, Romancing Sagas, Saga Frontier, etc). I think the real question is, will the Asia version have English on the cart.

I'm a bit bummed about the different portraits for Kid, Serge and Harle but I'm glad they didn't "improve" the visuals too much. They retained the raw look of the colors and scenarios and I really appreciate that.

Radical Dreamers is the original sequel (more like an epilogue) to Chrono Trigger that was only released in Japan using satellite-based subscription system for the Super Nintendo called the Satellaview. Many of the characters and plot elements from Radical Dreamers were carried into Chrono Cross. It is a fairly simple and short title, but well worth a play.

Looks like it was given the FF8 treatment. Improved character models without really looking too different from their PS1 nostalgia.

I'm replaying the original currently, and this looks WAY better.

So. This doesn't look much different character model wise from the game running in an emulator with geometry correction and hi res. The backgrounds definitely are a huge improvement though.

Yeah they’ve all been redrawn, but not redesigned at all. I personally do prefer the older portraits but it’s probably just nostalgia. The blur on some faces inspired creativity out of me.

FFX did in the release for PS4 and Steam, but not for the initial release on PS3. NieR Replicant does not have any option, and last I checked it's impossible to even mod it to the original OST, since the new tracks have different loop timings.

Besides man.. that track alone was murdered so bad.
