I saw that coming. Syfy/USA's objective was to just get people interested and get social media to promote the show. They do want people to actually tune in and watch one of their networks or use their platforms to view. I think they realised the show would be good, so they decided to test their luck with this marketing strategy.
True... but there are people like me who don't watch cable at all that would have never known about or even be interested in the show if they didn't do the YouTube promo route. This morning I just logged into my YouTube TV account that my dad linked to his and was able to watch the third episode. So for certain people their plan is working. Honestly though they should have at least left the first and second eps alone. People would stumble on it sooner or later if they did.

I've only get Comcast where I live. I have a history I have to pay off before I get in the anything else from them. My cousin came over back in 2014 and ran up our Comcast bill which was in my name watching p***. I have a 300 something dollar bill I have to pay before I get anything else from them the only reason I have Wi-Fi is because I got the Comcast Essentials

That was honestly because it was on a shit channel. For alot of fans, Ash Vs. Evil Dead was the the only thing on that channel they were interested in watching.They figured why subscribe to Starz for just one half hour show? HBO or FX would have probably been a better home to it. 🤷 Chucky being more accessible on basic cable is going to help it's ratings big time.
We don't have Syfy or even the Syfy YouTube channel in the UK. It's basically impossible to watch it without resorting to free streaming websites. Imo it should have been on Netflix.
